You are correct, this is only the standard ender 3, OPs post is inaccurate.

They have 2 printers listed. Would be an excellent price if not for the nearly $40 in tax. I was all prepared to buy it but got slammed with almost $40 in tax. I'd rather get the comgrow refurb cr10 pro v2 with built in bltouch for $40 more than this one.

Dang, just purchased Ender 5 from Amazon, arriving tomorrow. Any supporters for switching out for CR-10 V2. Took me forever to settle on 5 lol

Still kicking myself for missing when woot had the Ender 3 V2 last month for $219 (plus tax). Creality has it on their shop using the link above for $249.99 (after code) plus $10 shipping (no tax). Having a hard time deciding if I should just go with a lower end Ender 3 and upgrading as I go or just starting with the 3 V2. It would be a lot easier if the price delta was smaller.

I got all excited thinking this was a 3-PRO, Boo!

I bought one of the Ender 3 Pros at the last woot sale on BF for 180 and I wish I bought 2. Been keeping an eye out for another. Not ready for the CR-10, just another 3-PRO since my kid is monopolizing the one I got at BF. The Ender 3 PRO isnt perfect but with some adjustments can make some decent stuff.

Ender 3 Pro, just for the power supply and the z axis.

I've had an ender 3 (first gen) for over a year now. the pro is just a lot of hype. Fact is, nearly everyone is going to mod their printer so it wont stay stock anyway. The power supply is a non issue. There's no Z axis change.
https://all3dp.com/1/creality-end...fferences/

For starters, the Ender 3 Pro has been redesigned with a sturdier, 40 × 40 aluminum extrusion for the Y-axis base. Arguably the most important upgrade as far as print quality goes, this larger extrusion was implemented to improve the overall stability of the printing surface. (I've never ever ever had an issue with the y axis base, and at any rate, this is easy and cheap to upgrade if you desire)

Another aspect that makes the Ender 3 Pro superior is the upgraded Meanwell Power Supply Unit (PSU), which is thinner, quieter, and all-around better than the version featured on the original Ender 3.. (Non issue. PS is already quiet. Who cares how thin it is???)

The first version of the Ender 3 had a board fan at the top of the printer's base, which made it susceptible to falling bits of a filament. On the Ender 3 Pro, the manufacturer has placed this fan at the bottom of the 3D printer. Although the new placement of this fan effectively protects the board from being bombarded by plastic, we remain a bit skeptical about how much airflow is available underneath the base of the printer. (I can only assume they mean the fan mounted to the plate over the system board. Most people print a fan shroud anyway, so non issue)

Finally, Creality 3D also added a magnetic printing bed to the build plate of the Ender 3 Pro. This sheet is removable and flexible, making it easier to pluck finished prints off of the build surface. It has a textured surface that, in theory, should improve adhesion for all types of filament, eliminating the need for tape, glue sticks, and hairspray. (non issue. I have a 3x with glass bed and just a quick spray of hair spray is all that is needed. The magnetic base is gimmicky.)

Otherwise, the Creality Ender 3 Pro has the same build volume, design, and overall functionalities as the original Ender 3. (for a lot more momey)

The official Creality site is creality3dofficial dot com. The dot shop site is a reseller.

Note that the Ender 3 Pro ships with a 32 bit board like the 3 V2 since the summer of 2020. However, the Pro does not have silent stepper drivers. These boards let you flash firmware from SD card without any other tools.

I got the Pro in the Black Friday sales and like it. I think the upgrades over the standard 3 are worthwhile.
