Customer service is not great. It's been more than 3 days still no idea of when they will send me screws.
I was looking at an all in one system because the more stuff I have the more they can destroy. So i was looking at the sonos arc and just a simple 2.1(or 3.1) system. But a good sound bar costs like 800+.
Which leads me to this, it would be about the same price to get a much higher quality system like these speakers and a receiver.
Main problem i have with this is i dont want to run wire through my ceiling. I'm not even sure we can as the floor is solid spanish tile and wall behind the tv is solid rock. So i would have a wire dangling up to the ceiling unless we just put the receiver in ceiling.
And while writing this out, i came to the conclusion that i would have to rearrange my entire living room and still have to run wire through my ceiling in order to get these to work even though these make more economic sense. Looks like I'm spending 800 on a sound bar.

With kids that you worry about damaging things and soundbars are not near the top of the quality chain(especially at $800) and even if you believed they were how often would you actually be able to take advantage of it?
Taking that in mind I would ask. do you really "need" a new $800 one?
I would suggest looking for slightly older model open box or maybe buying used.
Would save you a lot more money and the money you save, you start a budget for a future HT setup you can take advantage of when your kids are older and appreciate with you.
You add to it when you can, be surprised how quickly you can build a good size budget.
Just scroll right past it,don't click on it & respond like you do ALL the other items on "front page" you are not interested in !!!! ๐ค
You are welcome ๐๐ป

I bought this set with the 10" sub. It replaced a TSI 3.1.2 setup. The Polk felt cold in comparison. Warm balanced sound, punchy bass and bright highs.
I ran the 801s bridged with 809s (look kinda nice sitting on top, added some punch to movies and music and pulls a 4ohm load to get a bit more juice from my AVR. I run 3.2.2 for movies and 2.2 for music off Yamaha TSR-700.
