Movies that were shot on 35~70mm film have a resolution equal to 6K~8K.
Highly recommend Lawrence of Arabia. It is slow and long, so it might be better to plan watching it in two or three parts. Worth the time if you enjoy movies. The acting, the natural settings, the dialogs, are all magnificent.
I don't know about infinite, but definitely more than 4k

I didn't know that they could take films this old and create 4k copies, unless there's some computer upscaling going on. Should probably re-watch this because I don't remember if I even liked it. Can't beat the price. Thumbs up.

Film has infinite resolution, so any older movies on film can be scaled in the future.

This video from Technology Connections gives an excellent explanation as to why film was awesome.

The cinematography in that film, for that time was groundbreaking.

David Lean was a genius and used a custom camera for some of the shots: https://www.panavision.com/panavi...novation-0
