We are comparing electric chainsaws though.
You can also get a 40v 16inch chainsaw and 80v 18inch from harbor freight Atlas brand everyday (before possible coupons) for $119 and $189 respectively.
I get irrational pricing and ymmv on Lowe's stuff. Just providing a data point for those that might want to wait for a possible future deal

Thanks for sharing this sale, OP. Nice that this one comes with a 4ah battery instead of a 2ah. I am heavily invested in the Kobalt 24v line, and am very tempted to buy this... I don't even have any trees on my property!
80v lineup was discontinued, 24v will be around awhile and tons of other tools in that ecosystem.
