Samsung EPP through Perksatwork has dropped the Q80T to pre-BF price. Combine this with the Amex Consumer Platinum card $200 of $1000 offers for some pretty good prices. Historic lows on the 55" I believe too:
I got the 75" Q80T for $1979 through the EPPbefore Christmas. Fantastic TV but this deal seems lukewarm. I'd wait until super bowl which coincides with new models.

Yeah, but then you'd want the newest models. Gotta wait until 2024 for the Q130T line

Yea looks like the deals are on the 55" mostly. Never seen them this low. The 65" and above are lukewarm
Yeah dolby vision lack is what's keeping me from getting a samsung.
what if we use a streaming device (Fire TV, Apple TV) that supports Dolby Vision and connected to Sammy TV? Or the display unit has to support DV to watch a DV content?
I am really looking into mini-LED TV's just announced by Samsung this year.
Would the 55" listed first for $789 make a decent gaming monitor for flight simulator? Is the Freesync as good or comparable to Gsync? Am able to get the discounts so seems like good price?

The tv needs to support DV. If that relatively simple fix worked, it wouldn't be a problem for most.
