For $40, this seems like a good deal. It is a bit limited if you are looking to water cool (either 240 up top or a thin 360 in front). Also, the fans go from 3 pin to moles, so there is no speed control. Otherwise solid airflow and room.

Cue comments: (1) No mesh front, it's terrible! or (2) It has a rebate, it's terrible!

Here's a pretty good review of the case, and it compares favorably with cases at a much higher price point (like the Fractal Design Define 7): https://www.techpowerup.com/revie...x-chassis/

I'm tempted to finally replace my FD Focus G. I have an Antec P100 sitting near me (not being used), and I've had good luck with other Antec designs over the years. For a couple 20s, I think I'll give this one a shot.

No 5.25" external bays. It's terrible.

I forgot that one!

Ironically, one of the reasons I bought the Focus G was the 5.25" external bay. It's been sitting there, unoccupied, for the entire time I've had the case. The external DVD writer that I have, which is used once in a blue moon, is perfect these days.

I missed some step and not able to match the mail-in rebate last time......So be careful with MIR. I also have a bad experience with MIR at Macy. Would not count it as a discount any more.

I own this case. It is a very nice case especially at $40. I haven't gotten my rebate back yet, but it keeps my 3080 nice and chilly. If you want a sleek, understated case with plenty of flow this is it. Highly recommended.

As noted there is no built in fan controller or 5.25, but I wouldn't let that stop me here.

I use USB plug in. Nobody use CD ROM anymore.
Optical drives aren't the only things that go into 5.25" bays. There are hot-swap drive modules that take spinning disks, SSDs, and even M.2 drives. There are modules that control your liquid cooling system. The lack of a 5.25" bay limits the functionality of a chassis.

Sacrificing function in favor of form will always be a non-starter for me.

There arent many competent/up to date cases that take 5.25" anymore. But for the decently high end ones its mainly between the Phanteks Enthoo/Pro, and the Corsair Obsidian series. Most are 2014 vintage and definitely wont have USB-C.

I use my front panels for the fan control breakout panel from my asus motherboard and for hot swapping two 2.5" drives.

Very few cases at all have USB-C integrated. I prefer the Thermaltake Suppressor series.

I use an 5.25" Icy Dock 2.5" (x4) bay. I like being able to boot an entirely different computer (a clean win 10, Linux, etc) easily. And don't need another box
