Use code MIKES25 for Jersey Mike's app orders and receive 25% off your entire order. Enter code at checkout. Valid thru 1/17/21.

To each there own, but Mike's is my favorite for subs. A little pricey, but the code helps!

To find a Jersey Mike's Subs location near you:

Agreed.

Jersey Mike's is an absolute rip off.

Wouldn't even consider it unless 50% off.
Yep, that is the deal point. Good subs at that point.

Jersey Mike's slogan should be

"Slightly better than Subway at double the price"

So I kind of agree. I just created an account on the App. I thought there would be at least some sweet deals on the App. Like buy one get one - or get sandwhich/fries and drink for $8. I have ordered from Jersey Mike's in the past. I did not think their hoagies were that great. I live near Philly - BTW it's called a Hoagie so using Sub instead is offensive. Wawa hoagies are good - especially when it's Hoagie Fest! BTW Lee's Hoagie House is much better than Jersey Mike's IMHO. I give Jersey Mikes a 6-10 (too expensive - hoagies are just okay). Lee's a 8-10 (I believe cheaper by a few cents - seem to be packed with more stuff tasty). Wawa a 7-10 (seem to be not as packed - decent price - good taste).

Depends where you are located. Stores are individually owned so pricing is controlled by the franchisee but I own a couple and can attest first hand that my operating cost have sky rocketed since COVID started. Literally everything is going up in cost. My lettuce and tomatoes doubled, my beef went up 100%-150%, my cheese went up, my gloves went from <$30 a case to $90, my Pepsi and Lays products have gone up as well. I promise they don't increase prices to make more money, it's to try and keep a reasonable margin.
I feel for you. Supermarket shoppers experienced something similar last spring after Covid started (albeit smaller percentage increases). But now supermarket prices are back to basically normal. Hopefully your costs go down too (although that won't be happening for labor). The problem for every US restaurateur is that restaurants are becoming a luxury good. In the past decade, US supermarket prices are unchanged. Restaurant prices are up about 50% Supermarket prices vary across the US, and some people have access to less expensive food, but the supermarket ingredient costs for a "giant" JM sub probably average around $3. Subs aren't the hardest thing to prepare. So I'm not sure I'd want to go into the $15 sub business now.

I wish our supermarket prices were back to pre-COVID normal. Especially for meat, everything is up at least 20%.

Yeah, We tried them with the earlier 50% off promo -- which I was able to stack with an AMEX Offer on my credit card. We thought the subs were good, and reasonable value at half off. At 25% off, the prices are no longer at "you've got to be kidding me" levels, but still not reasonable enough for me to plan a visit I do wonder who their regular customer base is for $15 subs..
I pay $17 for their subs and probably too often. But their service is bad when u use coupons. I had to contact the store manager to give me back refund for the value of my coupon bc they wouldn't do it at the time for me. I could've just walked out bc how shitty the employees were but decided to pay for it and talk to store manager later. The sales clerk told me to call store manager. After I did, the manager made me text the damn coupon to him so he can validate it. It was such a waste of my time and PIA

A $15 sub is a giant and is considered to be enough food to feed 2-3 people. It is equal to 3-5" minis or 2-7.5" regulars. The giant is there to save you a couple bucks if 2 people are getting the same sandwich. $7.50/person is a pretty reasonable lunch/dinner in today's prices. Sure 1 person can polish off a giant by themselves if they have a huge appetite but a 15" sandwich isn't the norm for 95% of people.
Most small people I know can finish a whole giant in one sitting. I can too when I am alone hahaha...it bugs me when people say that giant feeds two grown man. Really? I'm no man but I can finish the whole thing and not feel full lol

Yes, because B1G1 allows them to keep the lights on and pay the employees

I completely agree. Every time I go there I feel ripped off. When I get the veggie (yeah, I'm weird, whatever), there is an extremely thin layer of cheese and a bunch of lettuce. A gian costs $16+ and it weighs nothing. Meat sandwiches often seem light on meat/cheese as well. 25% off is a pass for me also. Jimmy Johns is such a better value ($8 or so for a large), and is also delicious.

Jimmie Johns does have a large sandwich. They have a regular and giant. The regular is 8" and is around $7 and the giant is 16" and is $13.99 (at my location). Prices are almost identical to jersey mikes. So how is JJ a better deal?
