Yeah, same here.

On a 60 GB share plan with 9 lines for $150 after taxes on Sprint. Retention deal. Unlimited 2g after the share data runs out (we've never run out).

Can't get a crap MVNO line for cheaper than that.
Easily reproducible with Red Pocket. See previous deal and regularly on sale every 3-4 months: https://slickdeals.net/f/13621003-360-day-red-pocket-prepaid-plans-unlimited-talk-text-5gb-data-month-195-more-free-s-h

Your plan: 6.7gb/mo for $16.67/line
Red pocket on ATT, TM, or VZ: 5gb/mo for $16.25/line

TMobile trades are bill credits over 24 months.

If you leave TMobile early you owe the entire remaining part of that $400. You also can't upgrade next year without owing money.

Not true, you can still trade in to samsung with a device that has bil credits from TMO.

Samsung needs to stop messing around with their formula for success. MicroSD slot, MST payment, heartrate/O2 sensor, amazing display/resolutions, are all examples of amazing differentiated benefits that no other company had, but now these guys keep giving us less, year after year. I don't see the point here. Why would I go to Samsung now instead of say a Pixel or even an iPhone. Samsung quite literally has nothing exciting to offer except for updated cameras in a pretty form factor.

I will hold off buying anything Samsung as a matter of principle, cause they are somehow compelled to justify the removal of key features which make them attractive in the first place. I mean you'd be surprised how many times I used my O2 sensor during this Pandemic - it's a feature no other phone has, but mine does, and even that was removed on S20. Just terrible all around. Sorry Samsung, your premium products aren't worth it anymore.
Think 80/20. If I was samsung i would get rid of the same if it made my margins better (and yes they follow the successful apple playbook):
- micro sd slot - with 128gb or more + cloud, 95% of their user base will be fine
- mst, please! most terminal are now or will be equipped with regular contact-less making this an exotic use case at best, again 80/20
- heartrate / o2 sensor fun but gimmicky and samsung realized that again their user base has other devices like a watch or other to do the same and do it better, I bet the usage statistics for this feature were abysmal for those who even knew it existed
- amazing display, they kept it on the ultra to upsell it to you and looking at the pre order, it just worked. Even on cheaper s21 models, the 1080p screen quality is so good that most people wont need more. 80/20 again

Stop thinking that brands are here to make you happy as they claim in their presentation, you know its B.S. they are here to make money, and samsung is pulling the right moves to their defense. i call that the contrary of messing around.
People wanted cheaper samsung flagships phones, they got it, best soc, best screen, lose to best camera, close to best battery, solid software, No one prevents you to buy a mi 11, or the next lg or oneplus.Yet samsung remains the best android phone maker for masses. They will give all these "super useful" extra features to the notes and charge your for it.

their best moves are the pre-order perks. Man that is a solid deal. If i was an cell operator i would be pissed. the incentives to not go straight samsung shop are very small.

So is anyone else able to get the S7+ controller bundle with this anymore? It's not giving me the option anymore, but the ad is still on the site.

I see a lot of complaints about the microSD slot. I guess the question is, do you really use all that space. This could be a problem if you record/download 60GB+ in a single day. But how often does that happen? And if you do, even if you don't trust the cloud, you can store media on a network drive. I recently discovered this myself. It shows up in your file navigator just like a microSD. Except, you don't have to remove a memory card to transfer files. They're already where you want them. In this case, my NAS, but a desktop works too.

MST....that will be missed but I was only able to get it to work 1 out of every 10 transactions I tried. So mostly a waste of time for me...

I used the heartrate sensor once. Then I got a Fitbit...

It's like griping about the charger when you already have three. A lot of these things seemed like 'musts' to me at first, but they have easy substitutes. Just have to evaluate on your own to see if they are worth the trouble.

Your plan: 6.7gb/mo for $16.67/line
Red pocket on ATT, TM, or VZ: 5gb/mo for $16.25/line
There is value in getting phone deals, perks, freebies, better customer service, etc. that Red Pocket does not provide in comparison.

I'm paying $13.71 a line for Magenta, taxes included, and much more than 5GB/line a month

The red pocket deal is outstanding, especially for one or two lines, but not an apples to apples comaprison to TMO post paid, and not as great if you have many lines vs the above.

PSA: Samsung has started creating FedEx shipping labels for pre-order. You can track by reference number (your order #) at https://www.fedex.com/en-us/tracking.html on the desktop site.

Or you can customize the below search link with your order#, and zip code.

fedex.com/fedextrack/?action=altref&trackingnumber=ORDER NUMBER&cntry_code=&locale=en_US&shipdate=2021-01-18&account_number=&dest_cntry=us&dest_postal=ZIP CODE

If your order is being shipped separately, try adding _01 or _02 or _03 to the end of the reference number

Mine shows estimated delivery 1/27 and anticipated ship date on the 25th. Might arrive even a day earlier like it has in many years.

Why is Samsung downgrading their phones? I have an s20 and the screen looks fantastic but the screen is thin and tall versus let's say an lg v60. I will not upgrade to an S21. I rather get the big s20. So which are the best phones out in the market right now? Specs wise.
The s21 series are the best phone right now spec wise....

How long will it take for the merchants to confirm order status in Perks at Work? My wowpoints status is showing as "Shopped" and Awaiting Merchant to Confirm Order.

I put hands on the S21 devices at best buy today. The Ultra is very nice but the back still felt like the plastic on my note 20. Side by side the Ultra has a much better screen and feel. Camera setup is nice too. They are almost the same size. I was never a true fan of the curve on my S9+ but now after being on the flat screen note 20 I miss it. The curve on the s21 ultra is very slight.

If I can net $200 from the 2 sets of buds+ ,combined with CB, discount and hopefully price match to Best buy for $50, it will cost me $85 for the Ultra
