This has been mentioned before as well. For some reason Samsung distinguishes between A71 and A71 5g. Try calling or chatting. It is also helpful if you took a picture before sending it.
Should I chat with them to confirm first before sending my A71 5G for trading? Or just wait to see if it gets denied, and chat then? Thanks

There is always the risk. In the worst case they send back your phone and you will have to return the order.

Did anyone try to request samsung to change their trade in phone model? Thanks
I have tried before. It's a huge pain and wasted a lot time, and at the end, was not successful because they use a third party to process the trade-in, and the third party goes by the original order to process the trade in and ignores all other communications from Samsung reps and I asking to modify the trade-in.

Yes they do that if Samsung adjusts the price or refunds you a portion.
What if you use the points before that? My points are already funded and I used to points to place an order somewhere else. But I got the cancel refund sometime back and points have not been updated yet.

Mine took 3 business days basically; just send a pm to the TForce team and explained my situation; they didn't even ask about proof of purchase. Heard back from them today saying it was successful and all I need to do is go into settings -> connections -> more network connections -> network unlock
What did u tell them during unlock request?

Does anyone know if Samsung will accept the European model
SM-G973F of samsung s10 for trade? or does this trade work only for US models?
h) Your device must be labeled with an FCC ID to show that it is certified for use in the United States under applicable FCC regulations.

Samsung/Fedex seem to be teaming up to screw up my trade in. I shipped my package via Fedex earlier this week which has now been returned to my address as "damaged" in transit. Only the box was smashed, but luckily the phone was OK inside. I tried chatting with Samsung to get a new shipping label for the trade in, but their outsourced help barely spoke english (first the front line person, plus escalated to manager). They are unable to generate a new shipping label and instead told me to pay for my own shipping and essentially hope for the best. I asked for an extension of the trade in window and was denied. To top things off, I just now got the "trade in order received" email (despite package still being at my house) so I think when they actually receive the trade in they are going to have some sort of error. This whole thing has been a disaster. If anyone that works at Samsung is reviewing these boards and thinks they can help my unique situation, please let me know.

Hi I just got an email saying Samsung rejected my trade in and they received an empty box. I have recordings and videos to prove otherwise. The photo of the empty box they have shown is not even mine. How do I raise a dispute?

wow, what an nightmare. I fell sorry for you. And to have to video yourself putting the phone in a box sounds f-ing ridiculous.

Correct. Subtotal was ~$1200 which was what they gave 30x points on. I actually paid ~$720.
Which S21 variant did you get? Are you trading in a phone? Did you use the accessories credits or saving them for later?

Had my first disappointment with the S21 Ultra that made me miss my Note 8. Samsung Pay did not work at my Ralphs / Krogers supermarket.

That's the issue without MST... I couldn't get it to work at Smart & Final with Google Pay even though the terminal shows NFC compatible.

It worked at Aldi and CVS. Krogers is so far behind.
