To answer some of the many questions about the low trade-in value shown. I have done this sorts of trade-in with T-Mobile before, It's a 2 part deal, It doesn't show the full $800 amount, THAT'S NORMAL.

PART 1.The official trade-in value you see during the process is less than the $800 offer, because that's the trade-in value that Assurant (the phone goes to them not directly to T-Mobile,) pays for said phone. The Trade-In "agreement" is for the Assurant value amount.

PART 2. Once Assurant has received, assessed and accepted the trade-in, T-Mobile adds the difference in the form of bill credits to total the amount of the Promo.
So it shows Trade-In value $80, yes, that's what Assurant will be paying for the phone. T-Mobile will add $720 to that and spread it all out in credits for a 24 months term. A couple of days after submitting the trade-in, your account should show the promo in the EIP section. The promo name will be shown there and "Pending Trade-In".

Voila.

Awesome deal for my S9. Wonder if Costco comes up with rebate deal instead of this EIP deal. Prefer outright deal.

When trying to trade in my device website says I would get $118 for my Note 9. What am I missing?

Is there any page up yet that actually shows the trade in values listed in the OP?

Waiting on Costco as well. I pretty much got my S20 FE for free recently and now I can turn in an S10e that I have sitting in a drawer into an S21 for tax on $800 only, it would seem.

No add a line needed for $800 trade-in?

Hmm does this come with the $250 of free accessories?
$422.40 tmobile final price.

Verse
Samsung $583.27 (hopefully $524 with 10% trick)..
With free: uv sanitizer, camera, buds pros, travel adapter, galaxy smart tag...

Think the better deal is samsung.. unless tmobile is offering extras too?
I guess it depends on what you are trading in, right? I don't think Samsung is give nearly as much for an S9 for example.

Looks like it's "upto" $800. My s9+ is getting $90 when I tried just now. Not a good deal.
Quote from sam_ay :
The chart on the post shows S10 series as $800. Is that click and bait?

Edit:
Checked the link and it says Up To $800 off. The OP is misleading.
The inherent value shown on the website is BEFORE the promotional value, as every other T-Mobile promo before has been. You get the value listed on the site immediately to the account as a one time bill credit, then the remainder of the $800 (for example, $90 inherent then $710 remaining) would be spread out over the 24 month EIP.

There's now a link above the phones on the page the OP linked to that makes the deal clear. Add a line is not required for the trade-in option.

Still hoping Costco does this too.
