Add one to the pre order and see, tMobile is offering only $80 in bill credits, there is no mention of the rest of the $720 in credits. I added and it clearly says $80 only.
That's just how t-mobile bill credits work. I even contacted them and was told the reason they leave the bill credits details out of the initial order is for purposes in which if one were to cancel before 24 months bill credits are up you would owe the full amount. It's just how they do and seems your mind is made up otherwise so do what you want

Purchase a new Samsung Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy Note20 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, or Galaxy Fold2 5G on a monthly payment plan.

The key here is to make sure you purchase on the monthly payment plan!

So TMobile is expecting you to sign up with a lower trade in value then hope the credit actually gets applied months after purchase and reception of device? Anyone have experience with this?

Why would I do that, when tmobile is going to give me $90 plus $710 in bill credits?
Are they? T Mobile showing me I'll get $80 for my wifes S9, nothing about bill credits anywhere.

Not sure about you but on Sprint I see a $33.34 monthly credit for 24 months. Only have to pay an extra $2.08 month for 24 months because I got the 256GB S21.

Still debating to get this or through samsung for the 160$ accessory credit and all the other discounts on the Buds Pro.

If you actually look at the offer terms - Point 3 - Receive a one-time bill credit based on your trade-in value, and the balance of the offer via 24 monthly bill credits.

As per my discussion with tmob this morning they mention $800 credit + trade in value($90) in my case.

$800 is just for preserving you with t mobile for next 24 monthsSmilie

Is that applicable to phone purchase? You are only paying tax for the phone though, so it's 5% of like $75 only. How soon can you pay off the phone in full though? That may make sense even with the 0% loan.
I don't think the bank can tell if u used it to pay monthly bills or 1-time charge but i could be wrong

Xfinity Mobile has $400 off no phone trade in & $200 Samsung store credit when you transfer a number. My opinion way better deal.

2 quick questions

1. Why does OP not mention the S21+, and only the s21 and s21 ultra

2. I just want to make sure I'm looking at this right, unless you are trading in last years models (S20 series or Note 20) the deal from T-Mobile is better then the deal from Samsung correct?
I'm looking at getting the S21+ and will be trading in the S10+ so even with the extra education discount on Samsung it comes out to 340 vs 200 here at T-Mobile.
i know there is that extra credit on accessories you get from Samsung. For those that ordered direct, was that credit instant, or via the Samsung shop app like in past pre-orders. before Samsung gave you that promo even if you preordered via T-Mobile.

I have done several T-Mobile trade ins. After the trade in device info is entered, it will tell you that you qualify for a promotion (like $830 for iPhone promotion) .. it doesn't show any promotion for the Galaxy S21. Is anyone else having the same issue?

Also, the final checkout screen will clearly list the breakdown of the Bill credit (see attached screenshot for example)....the Galaxy S21 checkout screen does not show this. Don't know if this is a glitch....the breakdown can be seen if you order other phones.

And don't confuse my question with trade in value of the device... I fully understand the one-time credit + rest in 24 bill credits
Yes I've noticed this as well. This one is different, it's not showing the monthly bill credits at checkout. The past two recent trade ins had everything spelled out
