If you have trade in device you can get $800 discount from Samsung directly for s21 ultra pre order you pick a carrier phone like t-mobile.
the unlocked version will still get $700 discount.
Use the following code at checkout to get an additional $50 accessories credit for $250 total: YOURGALAXY1RESERVEWA
I'm not seeing $800, only $550 for note 10+ whereas through tmobile directly, $800 for it.

Samsung direct is a better deal. Same trade in value but you get $200 credit towards anything you want in the Samsung store. I'm gonna pair it with the new galaxy buds pro. Also Samsung care is $11.99 compared to tmobile $18. Samsung charges $25 to change a cracked screen compared to tmobile $200. That being said tmobile will cover loss of device where as Samsung will not. I still think Samsung direct is a better deal when you factor in the $200 credit towards any accessories. There's also a $20 off if you use first responder, military or teachers.

Regarding costco. My elderly mother did a trade in. She sent the phone in prepackaged box with all paperwork. They sent notice of receipt. 2 months later, no rebate. When she inquires they said she had to do something online and now she is past the date, so no more rebate. Also, they wont send back the phone she traded in.

Just an fyi. It's like theft that they wont return her old phone and she has zero rebate. No help and costco salea people are stalling an outcome with 'no' and let me 'try again'.

Couple of quick questions. Will I get the Samsung pre-order tag and 100$ credit if ordered through tmobile with trade in? is this different from the $200 credit that some mentioned here that tmobile is giving?

Does anyone know if Costco will have a similar trade in tmobile deal?

Does anyone know if this affect eligibility for later trade in promotions if I finance it over 24 months? If so, is paying full price better?
You wont get the promo unless you do the eip. Wait for a few months to make sure all credits are good then pay it off in EIP

If I just upgraded on black Friday from Costco for the s20fe and still waiting for the $300 rebate, do I still get $800 if I trade in this s20fe and the waiting $300 from it? I did pay-off the s20 fe thought.

Warning for those interested in the S21. It's one of the biggest downgrades in history of Samsung phones. I would imagine the profit margins are huge even after discounts.

* Glass to plastic.
* No more SD card support.
* No more headphone jack.
* No more MST support for Samsung Pay... literally the only feature that set it apart from Google Pay and Apple Pay is gone.
* Box doesn't include headphones anymore.
* Box doesn't include charger anymore.
* Display downgraded from 1440p to 1080p. (not a big deal, but for $800?)
* Screens are now flat. (which is a good thing, but cost savings weren't passed onto consumer)
