Yes. Although, some may be disappointed when their "fair condition" scratched handsets they got for sub-$200 get rejected or do not get the full trade-in amount. I've got a "good" condition $210 unit on the way from Swappa with very little wear.

While I wouldn't pay $800 for this phone, $210 is a steal.
Thank you and repped. Yeah, I'm definitely going to pay the extra $20-$30 for one of the ones in better condition to minimize Sprint trying to screw me over. I already placed an order trading in my S10. This one would be for my mom who can't stop whining to me about her crap Motorola which she bought a few months ago.

Warning for those interested in the S21. It's one of the biggest downgrades in history of Samsung phones. I would imagine the profit margins are huge even after discounts.

* Glass to plastic.
* No more SD card support.
* No more headphone jack.
* No more MST support for Samsung Pay... literally the only feature that set it apart from Google Pay and Apple Pay is gone.
* Box doesn't include headphones anymore.
* Box doesn't include charger anymore.
* Display downgraded from 1440p to 1080p. (not a big deal, but for $800?)
* Screens are now flat. (which is a good thing, but cost savings weren't passed onto consumer)
* Good, I prefer plastic. Can't shatter, more grip. And that's only case-less!
* Yes this sucks, but upgrade memory is only $50.
* Who doesn't have wireless headphones now
* Wow, I didn't know this. Why would they remove? Anyway everywhere is NFC enabled these days but it was an awesome feature.
* You don't have any lying around?
* You don't have any lying around?
* Most people don't use 2k screens anyway. Note 20 ultra uses 1080p with 120hz, and even if you use 2k 95% of people can't tell the difference.
* I actually prefer curved but most people don't.

Like someone else shared earlier, take a screenshot if you're paranoid. Like multiple people have mentioned - this is how T-Mobile has structured trade-in offers for quite some time now.

...and it's absolutely about how no one reads. There's some great info on here, from what we might also be eligible for, such as Samsung credit to deficiencies of the S21 and S21+.

There's been confirmation of eligibility of plans (e.g. Military vs Walmart) and feedback from Costco (speculative).

Problem is you have to scroll past numerous posts of people ignorantly whining about an incorrect perception of their trade-in value of their phone - because they didn't take time to READ. Not to mention having to scroll past posts like this too (though perhaps my summary provides some benefit).
Yep screenshots is the way to go looks like.

Man people seem to be not complaining about no SD card. Note 5 was a disaster due to no SD card. Samsung is going for a second try.

If they said no SD card at least the storage should have been minimum 256GB, when your phone produces these big ass photo files.

I have Essentials Plan and traded in my S9 for S21. I messaged Team Expert and they re-assured me that the $800 promotional credits will be applied within 1-2 Billing Cycles. There is nothing in the Terms and Conditions mentioned about QUALIFIED plan; only qualified devices.
Sorry there is:

The $800 and $1000 S21 and S21+ models are overpriced even at $800. They are basically rebranding a S20 FE and charging more.

Tried to complete the trade in deal on the app and website but given a no go. Says I have to upgrade my account in order to proceed. The only thing ill be upgrading is away from T-Mobile after a decade of loyalty. All these new deals are BS for grandfathered plans. Heck Costco gives better deals for grandfathered plans. If they continue to force grandfathered plans to buy a Costco membership in order to get any deals then they can go F themselves. This is obviously a marketing scam they have going on. New and existing customers on their new plans get all the benefits while they slowly try to get everyone off their grandfathered plans by excluding them from every promotion or buying a Costco membership and praying there is a decent deal. Seriously bring back the old CEO cause this new one is TRASH!!!!

By rebranding you mean adding 2gm ram, have improved cpu, having the 5g on chip to save battery life, improved screen with adaptive refresh, 3x improve memory read speed (ufs 3.1) glass back (on s21+) and a arguably better looking design (I think so)?

I want to get a iPhone, and all the trade in deals only accept iPhone. How can I swap the S20 for a iPhone 12??! Even this deal accepts both Android and iPhone. Wtf.
