I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

Target has Ting starter kits with $30 credit for $1.
Activate.
Get a new number.
Port out new number to Metro for OP's deal.
Do we get the needed port out information right away on activation or need to call them?

Great thanks ....nearby Target has 4 for pickup. I can do this instead of purchasing disposable number from ebay.

The new Ting starter kits are T-Mobile sim only, so YMMV with port in at Metro...look for the old kits with two sims included.

Not sure what did you mean. Band 71 is mainly for T-Mobile and no other GSM carriers are not using 71. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Not always. I had to do a back and forth via their website with them to get it. Took a few days.

At the store right now. They are making me buy the $40/month line. I tried to argue, they said they wont do the rebate for $30 plan. So there's that. In addition, they are charging me the activation fee. They have a large banner outside of the store saying 'no activation fee when port-in'. When I showed them the banner, they told me they wont waive the activation fee. Instead they are giving me a "free" screen protector (for a different phone (Samsung A21), the screen protector does not even fit the Nord N10). Shady as hell. Total for 2 N10 came out around $100. I was expecting more like ~$70 (with tax and all).
I feel like this varies from store to store. The lady at this store is quite adamant.
ps. I've ported in Tracfone numbers (At&t)

What are people doing with these phones if it is locked and people are canceling after one month?
Some sell to other metropcs customers, some will leave them no service for 6 months after first month to unlock the phones, and maybe to use with other carriers or sell as unlocked phones
