I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

to some extend yea, it was upsell. he said he could do $40 plan which was $100 for 3+1 lines on autopay and $120 without autopay. i went without autopay. when i came back home, my plan shows 15gb hotspot 100gb google cloud so it looks like he put $50 first line plan instead of $40. i got 3 lines, one with port in and two as new activation at $120. still, it's decent enough considering he just asked me once initially when i went and once after billing if i need screen protector, then just once he asked me if i need insurance. no pushy sales tactic. i said no and conversation ended there itself. so $10-20 extra for no clingly service, it works for me. no activation, no taxes which AD would have charged as upsell.
$100 with autopay is a lie. $120 plan includes hotspot, won't become $100 which doesn't have hotspot.

Thanks, but that addresses service taxes, not device purchase when they are discounted to free. I'm wondering if WA will ding me for sales tax on a "free" device if bought in WA. I know OR won't.

I called multiple Auth dealers near Seattle, and all of them said i would need to pay the tax on the full device amount, which is $300 for n10 so about $32 in taxes

Cool. Thanks. Off across the bridge over the Columbia River tomorrow... They're all authorized scammers around here, but I don't take any BS.

I guess he was trying to trick me with $100 autopay on lower plan. But anyway, $10-20 extra without much clingy sales pitch was acceptable. By the way, I am planning to go that side again next week and I may get more phones if they allow. I may go with $100 autopay just to reduce cost. I can turn autopay off immediately by creating account after coming home, right?

$70 for two N10's. $94 total! Whoo! I ordered two Verizon phone numbers through ebay for $12 each and received them within 30 minutes. He gave me the $35 plan for both phones. No problems whatsoever!

N10>moto g stylus>N100>LG stylo 6> samsung A21. N100 is better than LG and Samsung even with a lower original price. You will notice tgat once you play 2 minutes with the phones.
Just like moto g stylus, which has lower original price than A21 and stylo 6 but performs much better than samsung and LG.

Ok, well I went to the corporate store and used my number from the $1 Ting sim I got at Target. I was able to port it with no problems. I asked for the $30 2gb service plan but was told that's only for flip phones. So I signed up for the $40 one, paid no activation fee, no taxes. I'd say that's a pretty good deal.
For the Ting pin to port out, I had to call their customer service. It took 2 minutes.
Try to chat and have the plan downgraded
