I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

I have never got into a Metro deal, so the phones should automatically unlock itself after 6 months?

Also, out of N100, Samsung a21 and Stylo 6, which is the best phone? it looks like The N100 has the best soc, but stylo 6 has the best resolution.

So the 2 phone numbers that you want to port, they just ask for the phone number, pin and account # and that's it?
The non-5G phones are not that different.

Some has reported the store rep will call the port in number to make sure it is active. I was asked by the rep do you have that phone with port in number on you. I said no. The rep didn't give me hard time. But other rep may refuse to sell you the phone. YMMV. Most people porting in ebay boost numbers are fine, a few had to get verizon numbers for higher cost.

Process was quite straight forward. I purchased 2 Boost mobile burner number from eBay & took the details to the corporate store nearby. They will check whether the number were used in Tmobile or Metro network in the past 180days. Once they do that, they will check the ID & will issue the phones.

I took two N10's and 2 N100 for $100 plan. All paid in cash. Activation fees are waived when you port in.

$120 is for 4 lines with hotspot & in $100 plan there is no hotspot option.

A word of caution: I was told that unlocking is via the Metro app that's installed in the phone. It will check for active connection prior to unlocking. So, I am not sure of the 'Drawer method'. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Per metro's policy, active service is required for unlock. However, past experiences from many users here suggest service is not required. That's why it's called trick.

Just ported 2 numbers last week and got 3 Moto and the Stylo 6. Thinking about going back to return 2 of the Moto's for 2 of the One Plus. My receipt states there is a 14 day return policy so I might try it especially since they over charged me.
I think there is a usage limit tho, like 1 hour mac talk time or data limits to qualify for a return. Read the fine print, not sure.

Just replicated the deal for a second time. Walked in on the following day and got another N10 for $30 out the door. How'd I do it? I walked in like a boss and they had no choice but to hand me a free phone. That's just how it's done!

Yes that's it! No other person needed. They don't even ask for names for each line. They put your name and address on the account. Go get the phones. Even if you have to pay $30 / mo for 6 months to unlock, you can flip the other 3 phones for a lot more. They don't need to be unlocked to sell as Metro phones, just need to wait the 30 days so service dies off

The N100 appears to be best overall, yes, unless you happen to like one of the others.

If your putting the metrosim in a TMobile phone, you may have to call metro and tell them to sync the IMEI of the new phone with the metroSim.

If you do that though, the phones you bought from Metro will not automatically carrier unlock after 6 months.
Ok but can I still manually unlock them after 6 months?

These in store deals are not worth the time and mileage, and the risk of a failed deal due to upselling / no stock / other factors far outweighs any potential benefit, even when you go to CORPORATE stores. They will deny having anything in stock if they feel you are doing this to "scam" them.
WHAT DRUGS ARE YOU ON?
Even if I only made $100 profit after 6 months it's still a great deal. 3 hours of my time (mainly scrolling) and 1 hour in store or less for $100 is perfectly fine with me.
Tbh I'm flying overseas soon and these can being me over $1 k profit for all.

Ting, if serviced by TMo will not work.

If you have a startup kit with 2 sim cards, one will be VZ, the other TMO (don't use the latter). If your kit has just one, it is TMo and is useless for this.

Only VZ-owned numbers will work.
