I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

NJ corporate store says, you can't have free 4 phones. Limit 2 free phones.
Same here at Corporate Store located in Orlando, max 2 free phones only. Looks like some Corporate Stores will allow and some will not. Not sure why.

So at last was happy to walk away with 2 N10 phones by paying cash of $80.

Anyone who paid with credit card, were you able to cancel auto pay after?
Yes - log in to your account using your phone number and the PIN created during purchase - near the top of the page was a "Manage Autopay" link - when you click that you get the option to turn off autopay and a text to all phones confirming it is turned off.

I bought from Target last night had 2 card V1 and X1. If you can't find them you can buy from Bestbuy I ordered a couple too. I bought 2 Ting kits for shipment, non in stock at store nearby, bought a phone for additional $45 for pick up with the same transaction. I am not picking up the phone and will be automatically cancelled and refunded, one way of not paying shipping charges
Did Ting worked for you? AFAIK, https://slickdeals.net/f/14773612-metro-by-t-mobile-in-store-port-in-offer-128gb-oneplus-nord-n10-5g-smartphone-free-w-new-line-activation?p=144761386#post144761386 mentioned that Ting does not work.

I bet they are likely to change the process so that it matches the policy. It was clearly a bug and it didn't work for many people.

They are likely trying to fix it as we speak. It makes no sense for them to allow auto unlock of a free phone when it's explicitly stated otherwise. People who open their drawers in 6 months might find there 6 inch micro tablets worse than what they could buy for $40.

Quote from lxtng :
Per metro's policy, active service is required for unlock. However, past experiences from many users here suggest service is not required. That's why it's called trick.

Anyone know if its possible to sell the phones now after getting it? Or do you have to wait a month?
Wait a month (actually about 35 days) or if you have another metro phone (not activated) - call CS and have that one replace the N10. Either way, the N10 would then be available to sell as a metro phone

I am in CA and just did this deal today, walked out with two N10s for $80 total

I've done a Metro deals before and what people have to realize is it's really up to the salesperson and/or manager you get that day. They can deny you or charge you extra fees on a whim, it's really up to them.
May I ask which store did you go?

Haven't activated my Ting numbers yet I only have 1 unlocked phone that will work on Verizon bands, will post up when I get in on this deal. But from reading most of this thread, it should work fine. $1 Ting sim kits are a small price to gamble for this deal.

Do you know what they check for with your id? is it the id # or the name itself/address. They never looked at my id when signing up
Same name and address, I'm pretty sure. If you go back you won't be able to get the deal again (twice). I guess you could hope they don't card you, and then give a work or family member's address. Or say "I forgot my ID, but I have cash" and see if they roll with it

My metro CS says $69 for the N10 when you switch.
But when I said it said free online he confirmed and mentioned that it's for when you switch.
So we are proceeding at the moment.
Getting x2 n10 and x2 n100

Plan to give them to my parents since they are on metro.
I read that I may have to wait 1 month to swap sim to metro.

He asked for my id but I then told him my middle name was my first name. Does anyone know if they jot down the driver license number.

I actually love metro and been a member for years.
Best service for the price and my plan includes Prime and mobile hotspot to feed other devices in my home.
