I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

I got it at a non-corporate store or you may call from an authorized dealer. Paid $120 in total (out of the door) for 2 x N10's & 2 x N100's in Harrisburg, PA. These were the last available in 6 of the stores that I have enquired in the area.

hasn't happened in last 3 years.
dont see it happening any time soon.

but sure no one can predict what will happen in 6 months ,

and the policy posted here earlier was:

"must be 180 days since u activated service".

not

"have service for 180 days"

regardless, u can still trade the phone to a metro user for some $$

but u r right.

perhaps is best for u to stay away from this non deal.
Metro pcs is extremely fair and straightforward.
It used to be 3 months now it is 6 months.
The increase is most likely since some sd'ers go ballistic with these deals.
But there's no early termination fees or any of the other life ruining things different providers do if you break contract. And best of all, no contract with metro.
It's a no brainer and quite possibly the best deal I've taken advantage of since my almost 10 years on SD. (new account)

It was a quick and easy process once I read the first 20 pages of this thread.
Sadly I've come to the conclusion that people don't even read the first page.
Especially since 100's ask questions that were clearly answered on the 1st page.

Online support can't help on that, I had the same issue, they asked me to contact the store.

The agent had actually put a lip on each phone box with the number on each phone, one of that slip had the 8 digit pin.
None of the slips had the 8 digit pin.

agree...but in all honesty the policy should be changed to active service.
like most every other carrier

why metro has allowed this to go on for as long as it has is mind boggling

most every AD will charge tax.

but lately i have seen a few post like this where a AD is giving same deal.

however, general consensus, is avoid AD, if u can.

so if ur CS is in a galaxy far far away, go give ur AD a chance

Tax write off as business expense.
They profit so much they don't care.
These campaigns actually help them.
I'm sure some subscribers don't deactivate.
I actually left metro for boost many years ago but came back after a year since theu started to offer the best plans 4x120 with hotspot & prime.
I've traveled all over and the service is impeccable nationwide.
Still don't understand how some people pay $100+ for just 1 phone line.
