I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

Welcome kenpet. We didn't expect this question from you :-(. As Desi mentioned, only ac#, PIN and mobile#. Remember, CS people are trying to call and verify those port in numbers.
Happy New Year buddy. Some of these MVNOs ask for this info so wanted to be prepared. Thanks for the info. I saw the info about cust reps going in the back and calling the numbers. But I also so people able to port in ebay numbers which is no diff than suspended visible numbers, correct? I will stop by the corporate store and see how it goes. I am not giving my license number..if they want to check name/address that's fine, but not giving license number.
Thanks

Process was quite straight forward. I purchased 2 Boost mobile burner number from eBay & took the details to the corporate store nearby. They will check whether the number were used in Tmobile or Metro network in the past 180days. Once they do that, they will check the ID & will issue the phones.

I took two N10's and 2 N100 for $100 plan. All paid in cash. Activation fees are waived when you port in.

$120 is for 4 lines with hotspot & in $100 plan there is no hotspot option.

A word of caution: I was told that unlocking is via the Metro app that's installed in the phone. It will check for active connection prior to unlocking. So, I am not sure of the 'Drawer method'. Keeping my fingers crossed.
They don't check if your name is on the account? Contacted a ebay boost number seller and was told there is risk because they can check if the number is yours. Appreciated.

Yes. You can port in Visible suspended numbers with valid port out details from V since port out details are valid for seven days. They will check only name and address and no more check with our id. Try to get $100/month plan with 4 devices. They will try to add insurance or some bundle ( In my recent order, store lady added NW Bundle for $5) and calmly ask them to remove any add on charges.

Imp thing - Get the account pin after account setup. . Best of luck to your CS visit. Please update back with your results.

Another rep definitely took my driving license while I was dealing with setup with the rep I was dealing with, he must have scanned or photocopied my license.. so your driving license number will inevitably be exposed/documented..

To get the 4 free devices, do you need to port in 4 numbers, or can you just port one number and get 3 new ones?

Port in two numbers and get other two as new numbers. I hope no one tried with port in one number and get 3 new numbers. Store people will always look to deny $100 for four devices and if you port in only one number which is good dp for them to reject $100 for four devices.

How sure are we that these will unlock after 180 days from the time of activation regardless of whether or not they have been active the entire 180 days or not? It's gonna' suck keeping these in a drawer for six months only to find out that they can't be unlocked until there's been 6 months of ACTIVE service.

Do any of the other "free" phones also only qualify for one of the two switcher promo phones (#1 and #2) and not the two new line promo (#3 and #4)? Like in the past, the Moto G stylus phone I think also was only available for free with switcher promo (ie. max 2)

Also, anyone have any more details on the phones being unlocked after 180 days even if not active (the "Drawer"). Would it matter if you try and port out the number after the first month (but before the number is released automatically.)

My understanding is there are two different promos being used (at least). There's the Switcher promo, max 2 new phone discounts with port-in. Then regular new line promo, max 2 discounts with new lines. Which is why the max is 4 phones, and only 2 N10s (because the N10 qualifies for Switcher promo but not New line promo.) So you can only get 1 port-in and 2 new lines, but you won't also qualify for the discounted 4 line plan of $25 / phone (or $30?).

They don't check that. As I mentioned, they just verify whether the number was used in Tmobile or Metro network within last 180 days. To port out a number, all they need is the cell Number, Account number & PIN.
