I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

No big deal. I jumped in many deals, but didn't rep OP. I have also been the one not willing to read 50 pages, but post questions.

Someone on the metro LG thread mentioned this deal days before it went alive. My only contribution is to start a new thread.

Any confirmation on this? All the spare numbers I have are throwaways that hasn't been active for 90 days.

Mine has be active for 30 days.
Does that mean eBay numbers won't work (haven't been active for 30 days... or 90 days)?

I used eBay numbers and it worked. If they ask how long it was open for, just tell them 6 month since they have no way of checking.

Actually, if they want to be dicks, they'll call the carrier CS and ask them how long it's been open for. I've had that happen once.

I am thinking to port out current service from VZ (1 or 2 lines). I will likely keep one line going as legit service but unsure about fully using this new N10 phone - if I want to swap back to my old phone (Galaxy S8) is that a hassle with Metro? Also, if I choose to port the other line but dont want to continue beyond the first month, will that be another hassle (I dont care about keeping the number or anything)?

CS. If anything, it was a stalling tactic for them to come up with more excuses to not sell you phones because waiting on hold for some carriers can be forever.

needless to say, not going to that CS anymore

Worst experience in omaha I see all stores are authorized and all are owned by same guy

I need phones for sure so I went to authorize store this is how it started

I am with ATT and visible as soon I gave ATT number the other guy in the store was telling to eBay number I am little serious on it so I told show me how you know and I am using this number from 7 months (then he is silent)

They forced me to take $120/4 plan I tried my best they forced me and they added insurance without asking me and Ended up with $144 for 2 lines then I told why should I pay insurance which I don't need he told I will get credit next month $14. I spoke to CS they have no control on the taxes and these is not credit also simply the lied to me .. little uncomfortable that I can't deal how OP suggests

But not other options in omaha to get Frown

Any suggestions

Same things happened with me, I just kept saying no to each thing. The agent finally stuck that I have to pay insurance and the system wasnt letting them. I had to keep refusing it and said I was 100% sure insurance can't be mandatory.

They agent was the only one working and then another 2 customers came and we're waiting. Finally they budged down and removed the insurance, i did have to pay about $100 in taxes though for 4 phones

This is what happens when companies put so much stress on employees to add these extras. They are just trying to hit their numbers and keep the managers off their back. Oh and to make a buck too.
