I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

Same $40. Smooth transaction. Took about 15 minutes in and out. No to insurance without hassle also.

Did they give you unlimited with 10gb hotspot instead of the 10gb plan? The girl told me being a new customer gets you unlimited for $40.00.

No.. just the 10 gb with plan w/o hotspot.. it was not offered to me..I would have taken it, if offered.. I also checked if I could turn on my hotspot, and let my other device use it, the other device launches a sign on screen saying my plan does not include it

Got the N10 at an AD yesterday. Wanted 2 but they only had 1 in stock. Bought 2 Boost mobile numbers to port from ebay.

They signed me up for the $50 plan, claiming that the minimum plan for new customers taking advantage of a free phone would be the $50 one.

They made me pay an activation fee though, despite the banner on the website claiming otherwise. They waived $15 off the $25 activation fee, making me pay $10. They said the fee was unavoidable. They tried the second number, that one supposedly would waive $0 off the activation fee. They mentioned something that the activation fee does not get waived if the number might have had unpaid dues on the previous carrier, or if it was at the previous carrier for a short period of time.

I tried calling this number but it looks like this is a general Metro number that goes to automated system with many options to choose from. Anybody know how to get to CS to check the port eligiability?
i dont think think is correct.

call.

listen to automated recording for 17 seconds.

option 3 ( i believe ) is to be connected to store employee

It might similar to GV number. There is a way to verify port in number eligibility on wiki.

Also I don't think T-Mobile number in last 90 days is checked. I was with T-Mobile in Nov and ported to Visible and now port in to Metro...I didn't face any issues.

wiki says:

alternate method to check if your number is eligible for port:
call CS in Dublin, CA: 925-551-7111
(in 17 seconds, press option 3)
a live person at the store will answer.
ask them

Sealed or not, they are already activated. They will unlock or not unlock in 6 months just as the phones opened by the store. There is no difference between sealed or opened phone as soon as they scan the sim card number and IMEI to the computer's system.
You can sell them sealed in box now after you transfer the sim card number to a different phone. Or wait a month.
if u do nothing, i think soonest u can sell them is 2 months.

my understanding is to be safe, wait 61 days:

1st month u have service

2nd month is still grace period if u decide to keep service and pay.
(sort of limbo)

in ~ 61 days the phone, number sim card are truly safely un associated with each other

I logged into the metro site and added a different visa card(almost no balance) and selected autopay using that. After that I deleted my old credit card, disabled autopay and deleted the new visa card. I got messages to all 4 lines that my auto pay is cancelled. However, I will call back to metro to make sure its cancelled.

Pretty good deal.
I called the corporate store and the person was breathing heavily and was clear that the person had cold. Will avoid going there.
