I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

Ok. Just came back from the Metro store with the deal. 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $120. When I asked for the $100 deal, they said their computer system was having issue with coding for $120 deal but manager gave me $20 credit for next month which I will not use but they signed me up for $100 plan.

It was super easy, got two verizon number off e-bay for $20, walked into store and they gave me all 4 phone for $120. No tax, No activation fees. No hassle. Paid cash and walked out in less than 15 minutes.

Another thing, store didn't even open the phones, all the phones are still sealed and untouched. Question I have is if phone is never touched and sim card not inserted in the phone and phone never turned on, would I still be able to unlock it in 6 months? I rather not unseal the boxes and turn on the phone if its not required.

I don't even know how to get the phone number to the two CS near me. They both have the same phone number, and it just gives me an answer machine. How do you get the store's actual real phone number?
If it's the 1(800) number then it is not the store number.
I found my local metro number from here of all places: http://www.metrorumors.com/metro-...locations/

If you also visit the store, the employees usually give you a business card with the actual store number as well.

Regardless, I really like N10, boot up super fast, almost feels like a flagship phone. Samsung A21 is so laggy, stylo 6 as well. N10 is so much better, although all these phones have similar MSRP, should be in the same tier.
The specs on the N10 is comparable to 765g which is high midrange. Besides for the GPU being weaker, the CPU speed is nearly identical so it's actually quite a bit more powerful compared to A21/Stylo 6 which are really budget specs. It should feel snappy compared to them especially with Oxygen OS + 90hz refresh rate as well.

I highly recommend everyone to take either the N100 or the Revvl4+ for the other two free devices if you're buying 4. Both the Samsung and LG phones are not worth the MSRP price imo.

I asked this same questions and the consensus is that it's better to be safe by activating it to make sure that it gets unlocked after 180 days. It also wouldn't make sense for the phones to unlock by itself when sealed or all the unsold phones that Metro has would be unlocked wouldn't it?

You know what's weird? I compared the n10 90hz to my pixel 4 xl with the 90hz refresh rate. Somehow, the scrolling on the N10 is not as smooth as my pixel 4 xl. I also tried 60hz on the N10 and it feels the same as 90. I find that so odd. Usually, I can tell the difference but with the N10 it feels like 60hz.

Sealed or not, those phones are already scanned and activated in the system once sold to end customers and will unlock or not unlock in 6 months depending on whether metropcs changes the policy.

The unsold ones are not scanned in to the activation system, thus won't unlock.

I just went to AD for 2 N10 and 2 N100. They actually only have 1 N10 left, but the csr called around and secured one, she got IMEI from the other store employee and said I can pay and pick it up around Monday.
  • I ported 2 Visible lines that was with T-Mobile about 60 days ago
  • Csr insisted that the insurance is non-removable by "system"
  • Total ended up being $132 for 4 phones
  • Csr insisted to open all phones, insert SIM cards, and call from store phone to make sure they work
I think it's just a case of employee following the rule as told, I didn't feel upselling cuz she really went out of her way to call other store and multiple coworkers to secure that extra N10.

For anyone interested. I found the official website for the 4 line 100 dollar deal. Showing this to the employee may give you more leverage when negotiating.

Thoughts about the N10- I wanted to like this phone. I have a 2019 Samsung A30 and wanted an upgrade, but...The A30 AMOLED display smokes this screen on the N10. Sorry 90hz, the A30 AMOLED appears richer, smoother, more colorful, and with way more contrast. I did this side by side. I thought scrolling and reading streams looked smoother and far more rich on the A30. Also - I did some performance tests, opening the same apps on both to test speed and the N10 did not dominate, it was close! It appears the N10 chipset is stressed putting out 90hz at that resolution. Also - It has a huge double chin that should not be there in 2021.. I totally get what the reviewers of the N10 are saying. Don't like the phone and I'll be selling it. I am going to ask my metro dealer about pricing on the A51. What did you think? Have you compared this phone to others?

Maybe a bug? It's still new, so maybe the 90hz is not working properly? I didn't really use it much so I can't confirm.

And in terms of smoothness, I don't think anything can really compare to Pixel lol. Oxygen OS is clean, but it still isn't complete stock android like Pixel. Doesn't matter how powerful it is if the software is not as optimized.

Ah okay. So sealed ones should be unlocked as well as long it's scanned into their system. That's good to know.

Do you mean 2 for $70? On the $40 + $30 plan?

Yes, I compared it to my pixel 4xl, Note 10 plus, s20 fe, lg v60, iphone 11 and oneplus 8t. All I can say is, I will not buy a phone with sd 690 for more than $100. The screen are not bright and washed out like my moto g stylus. I hate cheap lcd screen.
