I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

All phones spy on you. Not to mention all those cameras, watches, your employer, your computer, your car, your microwave ...

Have Tracfone with BYOP sims. Do I need #'s released or should it work without having to call them?

I have one on a verizon sim and one on AT&T. Does verizon sim use the sim as the account number or the imei associated with it?

No need to call to tell them you're porting out.

If you have an online account with TracFone, you can set your port-out PIN yourself.

For GSM SIMs, the account number is the last 15 digits of the SIM card.

I haven't ported out any Tracfone Verizon numbers lately, but I've think the account number is the 15 digits of the IMEI.

Ok, good. Read conflicting information on various sites so wasn't sure what was current.

I'm assuming the pin is in the ''manage profile'' section under ''login information.''

Yup, it's the "Security PIN."

Fun fact BTW for all the people scared of being spied on by the the Chinese government; go to settings in your phone, search certificates or trusted credentials, and then scroll down to "G" and you'll se a government root authority certificate, which is put on by the AMERICAN GOVERNMENT. So yeah maybe China is spying on you but so is America, so get over it.

Rep said twice birth year is my pin. But he lied. It never works. Also he added additional security code to my account, which is what they say high security.

I m going to him tomorrow as soon as he opened. I ll thrash him if he doesn't give me my code.
In mt case,, Rep used port in number code twice. Lets say the numbers i ported had an account num and pin(as 1234). The rep used 12341234 as the code on my metro account. I wasn't aware of this. I got back home and tried to login to cancel the autopay it prompted for the code. I called the store and luckily was able to speak to the rep I worked him, he gave me the code right away.

I went to a corporate store yesterday. They asked for my driver license and after scanning it they told me I wasn't eligible for "Switch Plus" so I can't get the phone for free. They then said I was still eligible for "Switch" promo instead and that the phone would cost me $69. IDK if the rep was trying to pull some shady shenanigans on me.

I haven't been a metro customer in over 2 years. IDK why I would be on their blacklist. This is an awesome deal but typically MetroPCS is super shady. I am OK with never having to purchase service from them again.
