I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

Damn was about to write this deal off now that I see this has anybody had success at authorized dealers?
Many success stories here. Most had to pay tax though. A few was able to avoid both tax and activation fee.

I went to a corporate store yesterday. They asked for my driver license and after scanning it they told me I wasn't eligible for "Switch Plus" so I can't get the phone for free. They then said I was still eligible for "Switch" promo instead and that the phone would cost me $69. IDK if the rep was trying to pull some shady shenanigans on me.

I haven't been a metro customer in over 2 years. IDK why I would be on their blacklist. This is an awesome deal but typically MetroPCS is super shady. I am OK with never having to purchase service from them again.
It's not you, it's just them being shady and trying to rip you off..
Corporation stores don't guarantee that they wouldn't scam people.
If you still want this deal, the only thing you can do is keep going to the stores until you find the one that you think it's the best for you.

Like I mentioned before, you have to play the games they are playing!!

He was quoting 92$ for two n10... so ended up with 4 phones... Samsung a21, n100 and 2 n10 and he gave it for 120$ all together

I was in a store all ready to port but guy wanted to tack on fees and taxes, so there wasn't an issue with the info, as least from my experience. I just don't want t go through the hassle of trying to get this deal done. Been to 2 stores already. Tired of wasting my time.

I have been trying to stay on top of this thread so apologies if this has been asked before. If I port my numbers in and get the new OnePlus promo phones can I put those SIMs back into my current phone to use the service. Or are the SIMs tied to IMEI of the phone which would require a phone call, chat or any fees? TIA

Same thing happened to me. I was eligible for Switch but not Switch Plus .... turns out it was the number I wanted to port in. I was trying a FreedomPop legacy number for port in. Tried it instead with a Visible number and boom ... I was suddenly eligible for Switch Plus (free N10). I ran home and quickly activated an old H2O SIM, went back to store and it was also eligible for Switch Plus so did the 4 phone deal for $100 cash.

What plan did you use for H2O and what process does it take to get the porting info?

In mt case,, Rep used port in number code twice. Lets say the numbers i ported had an account num and pin(as 1234). The rep used 12341234 as the code on my metro account. I wasn't aware of this. I got back home and tried to login to cancel the autopay it prompted for the code. I called the store and luckily was able to speak to the rep I worked him, he gave me the code right away.
I went to store and got my account lock released. This guy is a crook.
