Well, yeah but this is not factory unlocked. SIM unlocked might sell for little more than locked, but the $ difference is not as much as you might think. For any buyer, SIM unlocked is still going to come in the Metro box and have Metro splash screen and bloatware. Then you have 6 months of time and possible depreciation. Meh... Now if you are unlocking to use on Mint or another service, then that makes some sense. Better yet - instead of waiting 6 months, just sell the phones now and buy an N10 unlocked, or another device.
Makes pretty good sense.

Not many metropcs customers want to buy this locked phone for a reasonable price. If they really want this phone, most of them will just do this deal themselves.Once unlocked, this phone can be used almost on all carriers and with a broader buyer base, this phone can be sold at least $40-50 more than what you can sell now. There won't be much phone depreciation during the next 6 months because there are usually not many good cheap phones released during this period and it would still be way before the holiday season when you can see lots of deals.
Also sounds reasonable.

i dont think the box has any metro branding, but i agree splash screen . bloatware etc.
however.
i think for if u wait 6 months....:

n10: more value to a TM customer if unlocked given 5g capable

moto g stylus: more vale as it can be used on any carrier (including sprint)

n100: havent really given it much thought

Unlocked
N10 actually works on Verizon's 5g with correct APN settings which need to be manually edited.
Both N10 and N100 should be working on any carriers like moto g stylus once unlocked, at least the 4G part.

It is locked, you need to login to your account to swap it (free) or chat online and ask them to swap that for you, but they charge $20, if you ask them nicely, they may waive the charge.

In SIM Card and retail SIM card unit, X3 is printed which is T-M version. Also T-M SIM number will end with letter F.

Ex - My Target Ting SIM - 89012XXX1F.
X3 5G.
I tried to activate a X1 sim from the two sims pack this evening, first tried using laptop, payment was denied, change to another card, also got same. Changed to my cell phone, changed name and friends address, used a different card, got approved, but was unable to activate the Tmobile X1 sim, each time, there was an error message," plan was not selected", but I did choose the Flex $10 plan. After tried multiple times, I gave up, started a chat session with customer service, after she tried, I was told that the sim was old stock and intended for existing customer, not for new customer, so she would send me a new X3 sim free and also credit my account with $30. Now waiting for the sim? I want to create a new line for porting to Visible for the $100 GC deal, as I already have one account and want to create 3 more to form a party pay.

Is there any way to activate the X1 sim online? I read that a lot of folks have no issue to activate X1 sim ? Thanks for any insight.

I used #'s that were on the at&t and verizon compatible sims [for tracfone]. (Both plans were on t-mobile sims at one point though, and both plans were originally activated on 12/29).

I got one N10, one N100 and two A21 yesterday, as rep said that only one N10 left. In my experience, you have to go to store to ask, I have been calling the store twice a day over two weeks, i=one in the morning after they open, one around 3-4 in the afternoon, every time I was told no in stock, but yesterday after calling, was told no stock again, I happened to have some shopping to do and decided to stop by and ask, they do have stock, I saw people buying there, but only one N10 left for me, if I went earlier, I would get two N10, I guess they receive too many calls, they may think the callers are mostly our folks, so just let us no in stock.
So next time, just go in and ask, especially you are doing other shopping and not far from Metro store.
I had 2 N10 phones scanned and in the process of payment then the sale person apologized to me that the store cannot do this 2 N10 anymore. He gave me the options of crappy phones. I picked Revvl+ because it is the only phone available with 64GB and 4GB mem, not sure it is the one that I want or just get only one N10. I am not sure that this is only in this individual store or nationwide.

Does MetroPCS NOT offer the 2nd N10 phone anymore?

I had two N10 phones in front of me scanned and in the process of payment at a MetroPCS corporate store then the sale person apologized to me that the store cannot do this two N10 phones anymore. I was offered a crappy phone instead. This was at the corporate store in Panorama City, CA, about a few hours ago. The store is already closed. I have been searching the web for one N10 phone. I could not find one.

Can anyone confirm this? If not what is the reason that the sale person denied that

Thanks
