I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

Which one is more important? Port out the number or unlock the phone?

No one 100% sure whether the phone will get unlock after 180 days without service. Even it work before, doesn't mean it will work in the future, Metro can change their policy anytime. Just hope eBay will have unlock service available after 6 months if Metro didn't unlock the phone.

So I'll wait 6 months to try to get them unlocked. Meanwhile will use the phone as a wi-fi device. Do you think it matters if the metro sim is still in phone or remove sim?

I've always left the sim in (7 unlocked phones so far) but who knows. Why not leave the sim in?

I've ported out 3 of my 4 numbers to Visible to make $$ before I throw all 4 phones in a drawer. Note that Metro will reassign the numbers before the 6 months is up anyway. If they don't unlock automatically, unlocking via eBay will likely be available for much less than I gain from Visible. Anecdotal evidence shows that they may well unlock at the 6 months even with a port-out.

I have done side by side comparison for cameras under the same condition using default camera app default settings. Moto g stylus is the best, N10 is similar to Samsung S20 (just for camera), but not as good as stylus. S20 has a MSRP of $1k. Stylus has a 48MP main camera, only outputs 12MP pictures, the pictures have more details. N10 and S20 both have 64MP cameras, still picture qualities are slightly worse. Samsung A21 and N100 tie for the worst camera. A21 is a piece of junk, laggy and only 32GB storage. I don't have lg stylo, couldn't say much. It's probably comparable to A21.

Update, Metro by T-Mobile sent me a message yesterday saying my next month fee will be change to $122 per month from $100. This morning I received another message from them saying that my next month fee will be $133. I don't care this fee hike since I have no intention to continue the service with them for next month. My service is month to month.
My question is: Do I need to call them to terminate the service before the next month due date begin? Or can I just don't do anything without paying the next month service fee and just put my phones in the drawer beginning next month period and wait for over 6 moths to unlock them?

In store only. Need to go to corp store. Auth dealers are shady...
Everything about T-Mobile is shady and dishonest. Racketeering is a federal crime. No problem when you have deep pockets.

Please write this down and put it in a safe place. Then read it later after you eventually realize that allowing swindlers to throw you crumbs wasn't such a good idea after all.

You have no license to complain or to regret when duly warned. Empowering T-Mobile with your voluntary participation is like a West Berliner digging a tunnel to the east in 1963.

What is the total profit from visible?
$100 + $15 cashback =115
$20+40 = $60 for 2 months

$45 is the total savings?

haha. You certainly have imagination. Do link some credible sites to back up your claims.

The port out to Ting, then back in to Visible. All while the phones are sitting in a drawer. bounce
