I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

Anyone get charged with "mandatory insurance" @ $6 per phone for the first month? One corporate store will allow the 4 for $100 with two port in #'s to get two N10s and two other phones but requires a "mandatory insurance fee" of $6 per phone - so $124. Still no taxes or activation there.

Another corporate store says 4 for $100 is not available for the first month. So it would be $120 for the first month, no mandatory insurance required.

Both corporate stores said autopay was required for both.

Because I may want to continue to use them. And it's a confirmed way of cancelling the account without raising a finger.

The latter is similar to what I experienced. The plans they are selecting is $30/mo for each phone (hence $120), they are not selecting the $100/4 lines plan. Also, they said, with autopay, it will come down to $100/mo starting the second month.

Any guess as to how long this promo will last?

I just paid my ATT bill for the next month and as a slickdeal-er, would hate to lose the $40 in service fees

Why port out to Ting and then to Visible? Can we not port directly from Metro to Visible?

You misunderstand, Grasshopper. I port out to Ting after being on Visible for 2 months (after I get my $100 Mastercards). Then back again to new Visible accounts after my 2 month $1 Ting SIM cards from Target or BB expires. More money, as long as Visible still offers the $100 Mastercard. If not, I let 'em die.

Can we port from metro to visible? Metro numbers are categorized under "other". risky to get post approval, right? it would be a loss to try out I guess. Anyone ported from metro to visible with success?

You can. But you need to make PDFs of ALL of your account and number online pages before you port out. Because once you port out, that Visible info disappears.

And get in touch with them via chat (horrible) or Twitter (best) for them to manually apply for the $100 GC by sending them the PDFs as proof.

If you want to get multiple GCs and cashback, definitely different accts. GC is one per account. Visible even suggested I do that.

How does N10 compare to Pixel 4a? Anybody with exp can chime in? Looking at the stats pixel has slightly faster specs but smaller screen which puts them pretty even spec wise. So was wondering overall usage etc?

I am doing a similar thing with Visible. But you forgot to mention a $40 from CB site also.
I am using 99 cent ting sim from best buy with $30 credit. I still have two left.

One guy on Reddit unlocked N100 through CS.

His post: Oppca: I had a problem with my metro experience and they decided to unlock the phone as a means of settling the issue. So, yes it is fully unlocked and removed from the previous metro account.
