I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

I don't know what you've been reading,

Review of the Ace up against the Nord 10:

The Motorola One 5G Ace needs more than just a low price to separate itself from other 5G phones, especially with the TCL 10 5G UW matching its $399 cost and the latest OnePlus Nord N10 available for even less. The long-lasting battery on Motorola's phone helps somewhat, but other positives like a bright screen and strong macro lens aren't going to be the features that make people flock to your phone.
There's nothing wrong with the Motorola One 5G Ace, though I do wish its camera handled low-light photos with more aplomb. But at a time when more phone makers are putting effort into producing lower-cost 5G devices, "good enough" is barely enough to make the grade.

Did you actually read that review?

It has the Motorola ahead of the OnePlus on: screen, cpu, graphics, and battery life.

The things it loses out on are: slower/longer charging, and cameras.

In store only. Need to go to corp store. Auth dealers are shady. Both N10 and N100 are free. Limit 2 per household, ID check required. Need to sign up for new plan for the first month. Cheapest 2 line plan is $70. So $35 net cost each phone.

Best case scenario, get 2 N10 and 2 other free phones (N100, LG Stylo 6, Samsung A21) on $100 plan 4 lines with unlimited data. LG and Samsung free phones are limited for 2 port-in and 2 new lines. One can get 2 free N10 with port in and 2 free N100/LG/Samsung as new line. Store may add insurance and other charges, be firm and decline. Many stores enforce $120 plan instead of $100 plan for 4 lines. The $120 plan include tethering. Can call 800 number to switch plan and get refund after signing up instore. There should be no tax on phones, and no tax on plan.

Some reported N10 5G only works on T mobile network. Be aware.

N10 Phone specs:
5G Capable
Warp Charge 30T with 4300mAh Battery
90 Hz Smooth Display
6.49" FHD+ LCD
Quad Camera System
128GB Storage (Expandable up to 512GB)
Price may vary in store

Terms:
Free OnePlus device offers: For a limited time at participating Metro® by T-Mobile stores, purchase either a OnePlus Nord N10 5G or a Nord N100 and port-in an existing eligible wireless number to one of the devices and receive an instant rebate off the full retail price of a OnePlus Nord N10 5G OR a Nord N100; each requires validation of name, address, and date of birth provided through independent database and presentation of matching identification. Excludes phone numbers currently active on the T-Mobile network or on Metro by T-Mobile in past 180 days. Limit two (2) total Switcher Instant Rebates per account/household: Provided in form of credit against regular purchase price at time of sale and have no cash value. First - extremely grateful for this thread and the helpful advice here.

Tried to do this on the phone: "The $120 plan include tethering. Can call 800 number to switch plan and get refund after signing up instore. There should be no tax on phones, and no tax on plan."

Talked to multiple supervisors - I insisted on getting a check mailed to me or refund to the credit card. I kept getting denied. They kept overly-explaining that it was impossible, that they could only refund either the full amount or none at all; or bill credit (which I adamantly did not want). Made no sense. Eventually, after the fourth supervisor, I said - fine - give me the full amount then. They said ok - and put in a request to refund the whole amount. Then they said the service would need to be ended - I said fine. Do I need to return the phone? The supervisor said I could go to the store to get a refund for the phone (a refund of $0? - I didn't tell him that though). Eventually he put in the request and said he was unable to cancel the phone service on his end bc the acct was too new. But the request for refund was alrdy input. He told me to go to the store to cancel the lines, and he said that was the only way to cancel. So I called again, the next agent said similarly - that you can't cancel over the phone within seven days. So I said - pls let me speak to another supervisor - can you just auto cancel on day 7 and not make me waste another call in the future and just give me a refund? After waiting for the supervisor, I was able to get a cancellation of four lines on the phone and a refund request processed. Before doing this cancellation, I asked if the phone can still be used with metropcs, another account, and the supervisor said yes. So ... I got a prorated refund processed. And I got to keep the phones, and now it's even easier to sell because they phones are not married to active SIM service.

Kind of dead. You have to pay activation fees. Only selected really low-end devices like Samsung A01 are free of activation fees.

The Motorola Ace 5G is definitely better than the OnePlus nord n10 5G. I am definitely gonna try to score that phone. Well worth the paying the extra $20.

Metro has like 14 free phones available right now. I don't see how they let people get 1-4 free phones and then give them full or pro-rated refunds without returning FREE devices. Many people would be just flipping them without any intention in using their service. Metro would be the biggest idiots to say "Keep our 4 phones worth over $1k for free and we will give you pretty much full refund.".... It doesn't make sense.

The camera on my moto g stylus 2020 is quite good. Not quite on the level as my pixel 3a or iphone se 2020 but I have been very happy with it. It is tough for Moto and Nord cameras to compete with pixel/iphone in darker environments. When I ran a comparison test, I actually saw most detail in the towel fibers with the Moto G Stylus and I put it against the iphone se 2020, samsung galaxy a71 5g and moto z2 force. This surprised me. I highly recommend gcam parrot as it really helps with the detail and color accuracy. I think gcam will help both Moto and Nord. I actually put gcam on my samsung galaxy a71 5g as it surprisingly did better than the samsung camera default app..... I thought the moto g ace 5g had the same exact camera but I think the stylus 2020 camera is actually better as it has laser AF, higher 16mp ultrawide rather than 8mp and can shoot 1080p at 120fps. It can also shoot ultrawide video in vertical. I do think the moto g ace 5g finetuned their camera app interface to look more cleaner and polished.

As for 15 watt fast charging with 5000 mAh vs 30 watt fast charging with 4300 mAh battery? I would rather have the extra 700 mAh battery. Motorola still charges quite fast.

* I am interested in both the Moto G Ace 5G and the Nord N10 5G. I pretty much know what to expect from the Moto. I am curious to try out the Nord N10 5G but I really prefer the regular Nord. Too bad regular Nord isn't in the US and had this deal.
