If cricket already accepted port in, activate it once the phone sim arrive.
Thanks and repped, so if I activate the Cricket sim when it comes, how about the incomplete port? I don't need to contact Metro with the incomplete port issue at all ? I don't intend to use either Metro or Cricket, is there any issue with the phone for use or sell in the future? Thanks so much.

For cricket, if you don't need the service, you don't need to activate. I am not sure about metro, since their sim and phone are married. I guess the phone should be fine after the grace period.

Thanks again, great to learn that I don't have to activate the Cricket sim, since I gave my real name and ssn, they won't give me any issue later on?

You already prepaid for service, if you don't pay for next period, no more service. Same for metro.

We can activate Cricket lines through online without opening the box. I am not sure if you don't activate the line, does it complete the port in from other carrier. I never tried without activating the line but I did online activations without opening the box.

Many people have cricket/visible burner numbers. Numbers can also be purchased from ebay. Don't know if GV number works or not.
What is GV number ? I only have textnow and 2nd Line phone numbers which is hell trying to set up any digital mobile wallet , can this number on ebay ur talking about be used for that as well ? And u wouldn't by chance have like saved the seller or some info that u could post up a link for me for the ebay ?

So are the authorized dealers required to give me the corporate deal even though they may not be required to advertise it ? Are VOIP numbers such as TextNow or 2nd Line eligible to port in ?
