So possible to get 2 One plus 10 or Moto one ACE and 2 Moto G Stylus by porting two numbers? Think have to pay $25 activation now? Thanks.
No.Now they are limiting 2 total phone instant rebates per account/household. So maximum of two free/heavily discounted phones.

That's why they are putting moto g stylus for free again because it makes no sense to buy the free moto g stylus, when you can get moto one 5g Ace or oneplus Nord N10 with those limited two phone instant rebates.

Who/where did you get that info from?

FWIW Metro's homepage still shows this banner ad:

Check the product page of moto one 5g ace, moto g stylus and onrplus nord N10. It says maximum of two phone instant rebates per account/household for those good phones.

You can get four low end phones like samsung A01 for free though.

I seem to recall that's the phrasing for their "max of 2 of that one particular model" rule, which isn't new.

Their "free phones" are "free" because they have instant rebates. If you can't have more than 2 instant rebates, you won't be able to get 4 "free" phones.

That is new. It used to be limits of two switcher instant rebates and/or two new line instant rebates.
For phones that were only free on port-in lines such as Nord N10, it said limits of two switcher instant rebates per account/household.
For phones that were free on both port-in lines and new lines such as moto g stylus, it said limits of two switch instant rebates and two new line rebates per account/household.

Now it says limits of two smartphone instant rebates per account/household.
So you can only have two instant rebates if you choose good phones, but if you choose only cheap phones such as samsung A01, you can have two swither instant rebates and two new line rebates for a total of four free phones.

Only cheap phones like samsung A01 still states "Limit two (2) total Switcher Instant Rebates and limit two (2) total New Line Rebates per account/household".

The iPhone 12 mini/regular/pro have the same small print as the Samsung A01.

The GStylus is only free with port-in. The Stylo 6 and A21 (retail price $20 higher and released 1-2 months after the GStylus) are also free with port-in. Their small print are also the same as the A01.

To be clear: is this just you interpreting their fine print? Or have you been told that by someone at a corporate store?

Limit of two smartphone instant rebates are dedicated to good phones/hot selling phones like moto one 5g Ace,Nord N10and moyo g stylus. Those stylo 6 and samsung A21 are not as good phones. That is why metro pulled moto g stylus from the free phones while still offered stylo 6 and A21 for free even though they have higher msrp, ther are inferior phones and not selling as good as moto g stylus.

For the iPhone 12s, you can have 4 rebates because they are far from free even with the rebates.

The fact is you can only have two smartphone instant rebates if you want free/close to free good phones like the moto one 5g ace, oneplus nord n10 and moto g stylus mentioned, but you can have fours rebates if you want free inferior/lower end phones like Samsung A01,A21 or if you buy highly priced phones like iPhone 12s.

You don't have to trust me but you will know it's true if you go to store and check for yourself. I am helping you and telling you info/tips, not trying to convince you.

It's at the front of this tread, right after the OP's original post.
Thanks for that info, I've been wondering where it's located!

If I knew how to "rep" someone, I would rep you (I'm assuming repping is a good acknowledgement).

I see, so we can use it for just the Wi-F, like tablet, thanks. What about the SIM, can it be taken out? Can we attempt to port out the number after first month or must we leave it be?

Question, if I bought the Nord N10 and N100 a week and a half ago (and thus what I was told was cheapest plan for two at $80, even though receipt shows $83.40 even though no there are supposed to be no fees 😒), and I'm wanting the Ace, could I still get it bc I only switched/ported in one line for the N10 and just added a new line for the N100, or is that your point now, since I already got two phones, I'm done? If so and I can't, can I return the N100 and try porting in another number to get the Ace? I'm basically wondering if it's possible for me to get an Ace and/or return the N100 (for more than $20). I ended up going out the door with the both for $150 bc $20 each activation, plus $83.40 for plans, plus $26.40 for tax on free $299.99 N10 and free $179.99 N100 at authorized dealer.

Sim shouldn't matter. There is no consensus on how port out would affect unlock. My own interpretation of metro's policy is phone will unlock regardless.

id you get N100 as port in or new line? If as port in, you may need to return N100 to get ace. If new number, you should be able to get one ace by porting in another number.

Thanks, makes sense. Yet there's some people insisting that you have to have 6 months of paid service on this thread or other threads which I'm really hoping isn't true...

N100 was new line, but I was told I couldn't return either bc activation fee, tax, and plan for a month are all nonrefundable. I'm asking about the Ace bc Googlephone was saying the deal is different now. Would adding the Ace with a port, if I can, be $20 for phone, $20 activation, tax on original price ($279.99??), and a third line bump up from my two for $80, so $20, bc there's a 3 lines for $100 deal? It's all really confusing to me unfortunately.
