N100 was new line, but I was told I couldn't return either bc activation fee, tax, and plan for a month are all nonrefundable. I'm asking about the Ace bc Googlephone was saying the deal is different now. Would adding the Ace with a port, if I can, be $20 for phone, $20 activation, tax on original price ($279.99??), and a third line bump up from my two for $80, so $20, bc there's a 3 lines for $100 deal? It's all really confusing to me unfortunately.
Strictly speaking, the current policy is two "good" phones allowed, you have reached the limit. But your purchase was made under previous policy. Hard to say. You might have to try in store or try a few stores. If you read posts in this thread, you will realize each store have their own policy.

Is the N100 considered a good phone though, especially since it was added as a new line, not a port in?

No.Now they are limiting 2 total phone instant rebates per account/household. So maximum of two free/heavily discounted phones.

That's why they are putting moto g stylus for free again because it makes no sense to buy the free moto g stylus, when you can get moto one 5g Ace or oneplus Nord N10 with those limited two phone instant rebates.
Thanks and repped.
Do they allow two Moto one ACE or N10, plus two Samsung A21, or two phones max if getting two higher end phones?

Here's one review out of many if you search.

I'm more than happy if I can get a c-note for it.

Oh, I was just going off how OP was referring to the N100, I actually have the phone lol, just didn't know if it qualified as a "good" phone in this current deal, bc that changes things if it is.

id you get N100 as port in or new line? If as port in, you may need to return N100 to get ace. If new number, you should be able to get one ace by porting in another number.
If new number, he still needs to return the N100 and port in a line to cover/override the new line to get moto one 5g Ace.
Basically he can exchange the N100 for a moto one 5g ace by porting in a number to override the new line. Technically, he is exchanging devices, not returning device, during the 14-day return period.
He can't get one N10 on port in line, one N100in new line and one moto one 5g Ace on a newly port in line.

No. Once you have one of those good phones like N10 and one Ace, you can only have two rebates.

If not activate, the old line would still be in service, the port would not complete.
Perfect. Thanks.

Need your advice. I need to resell one phone. Should i sell after 1 month or should i resell after unlocked due to potentially high resell value for unlocked phone? I worried that resell value will drop if people prefer 5g phones after 6 months.

Where should i sell the phone besides ebay? I have bad experience with ebay.

That actually would be my preference, exchange the N100 for the Ace with another port in! Is there anything I can tell the sales guy or say to him when attempting to exchange? He's super nice (and not in a fake way), but he's under the impression you can't exchange a phone like that. Any of Metro's own literature which I could direct him to to look at? He's super cool and would do it if he thought he could. For instance, he said he's cool with porting over a Google Voice phone number, which I thought everyone said they would never do. Wonder if they can tell if I just got it, like does it have to have a certain history and be established for a particular time frame, like a few months?
