I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

Has anyone been able to use these Metro phones, unlocked via the 6 month drawer method, on
T-Mobile?

My phone cannot be activated on T-Mobile stating the error below

"We can't confirm that this device is unblocked. Please contact the original wireless carrier for information about the device's status"

Thanks for a quick reply. I went to Costco for the BYOD promotion and they cannot activate this device. Apparently their system cannot confirm it is unblocked on the network. Not sure what to do next.

What happens when you put a sim or they can activate it through their system

Same thing happened to me with Metro N10. Costco wireless rep checked N10 device's IMEI in T-Mobile IMEI checker and it showed we can't confirm this device and he asked me to bring another device. I used unlocked iPhone SE 2 for BYOD deal. But currently I am using my primary T-Mobile SIM on N10 and it is working great.

N10 should work with BYOD but reps are not interested to use that device for BYOD $300 deal.

I have to agree. The phone is working just fine with any provider's SIM card, I have tried Redpocket, so it is unlocked from that standpoint. Costco doesn't seem to be able to activate a new line with this IMEI. I see the same error when checking on T-Mobile website for BYOD, so apparently they are not lying.

Does your N10 pass this check on T-Mobile site?

DP.

The n10 from metro i believe is Model be2025.
When i had that phone, i checked the sprint byod site and it returned i could not NOT use on sprint. I therefore sold both of them for a nice profit, very soon after getting this deal.
They were locked to Metro, & I believe Metro customers bought them.

Fast forward to last month.

I bought n10 from ebay. Model be2028. Which i believe is the TMobile version.
I was able to activate it on my Sprint account (using a sprint sim) and have been using it as my DD for last 2 weeks.

Hopefully this helps someone.

Does anyone know or have any experience on if the Metro drawer trick works on iPhones? I do not see the Unlock app on Metro iPhones, so I would guess the answer would be "no" but would love to hear any experiences. Thanks in advance!
The drawer trick worked for me for two iphone 7s in 2020. Yes, this information is around a year old but hope still helps.
