You're right in that a 10th gen i7 for $1k would be a ripoff. The cool thing here is you get the rest of the laptop for the same price.

It's a great laptop for folks that needs a really light weight, plus no one beats this one with battery life. True not latest CPU but still very capable one.

From the other hand - LG support for laptop sucks. I mean the worst support ever. They don't update drivers regularly, their site is a mess, plus the delete drivers from non current laptops. Keep that in mind.

This is the same price as M1 MacBook Air. I'd go with the MacBook Air.
