Nice deal - I purchased this at a similar discount a few years back. No problem getting the rebate.

Keep in mind this is a LARGE case - really designed for an open loop cooling solution. I did an air cooled build in it, and the components look a little lonely with all the additional unoccupied space between the end of the PSU enclosure and the front panel. I specifically sourced a 3 fan GPU just to fill up the space a bit.

As noted in the Gamer's Nexus review, you'll want to ditch the magnetic dust filter behind the mesh front panel - the filter chokes off air flow. I used 3 front panel 120mm intake fans, one top panel 120mm exhaust fan, and one rear mounted 120mm exhaust fan - no cooling issues. Cooler Master tower cooler on the AMD 2600 CPU.

Hard to resist at this price - if you have the space for it and the components to fill it up. Build quality is very good.

At stock I would agree. Once you remove a filter and add fans of your choice temps were looking noice!! At $34 you have cap room for a couple fans if you dont already have them sitting around.

Nope. I've built all of my computers for the last 20 years. Tricking them out is ridiculous imo. Would make more sense to trick our your microwave, at least visitors will see it. Anyway, it's just a theory I'm kicking around. Feel free to disprove it and I'll eat my words.
Was going to trick out an 011 Mini with unifans. Couldn't stomach $400 for RGB and a new case (+$100 to swap to an SFX PSU) though when I could step up my other more functional components instead (5600x to 5900x, 5800x to 5950x, 3060ti to a 3080, etc).

Now, if I had $400 to burn, I'd happily trick out my PC because even the RGB underglow on my Viper Mini made me smile everytime I saw it.

There is an inverse relationship between how tricked out your computer is and how well you do with the ladies. Just a friendly heads-up.
Thanks! I appreciated your comment. Smilie I don't believe it but I've been wrong plenty times before.

All rebate deals should say so in the title. It should be made obvious that the price posted includes you basically providing the seller a 90 day interest free loan of $50 with a 90% chance of getting your money back (AKA mail-in-rebate)

Unless your computer is mounted on the wall like a piece of art. I have a
Thermaltake Core P5 case with a custom water cooling loop wall mounted that gets lot more compliments than the microwave. But sadly not as many as the Nespresso...

I get a lot of interest from the ladies… in my family. At Christmas I had to buy and install a bunch of RGB RAM and a no name AIO because it had pink fans and a heart shaped RGB CPU cooler. I have created monsters.

Hope have a case deal for 5.25" driver
Fractal Focus G was was my pick for a good cheap case with 5.25" drive bay.
Only downside is side panel for the cheap version is plastic and not glass.

Have it. Love it. Could it have a few more things? Sure. But it's $35. For that you get good airflow (minus the mesh), ample room to build out, good cable management, tempered glass, and a trusted manufacturer. Thumbs up.

^ All of this. I love this case, but it's too big for my air-cooled setup - it would be better to have fans closer to mobo and components in my case... And I can't put it on its side, tucked into my entertainment center because it's so deep and because of screws holding in glass on both sides of the case. I was able to relocate the feet from the bottom of the case to one side, using longer screws I had on hand. But it was still too deep for my shelf. Great case for this price if it fits your needs.

I've done a lot of rebates in my day. Must've got lucky because I've only had a couple not come through, usually from shady/generic companies. No problem with TT yet.

At that original price point, I get Steve's argument somewhat. $30 is a no-brainer though.

The filter is REMOVABLE, and P12/P14 5 packs can be found on sale for as low as $25-30, arguably some of the best performing fans out there, second only to maybe Noctua (which cost that much for a SINGLE fan).

At that price point after the fans, you're still less than the Lancool 215 territory (which Steve called the best budget case of 2020), and (again according to Steve) the dual 200mm front fans that they come with aren't really ideal in front of radiators. So, you might want to upgrade the fans anyway for the sake of performance which, of course, bumps up the price.
