Decent rack, I had one for 4 years before selling it last week to upgrade to a full rack. I wouldn't ever put more than 300lbs on this, the 500lb limit is a total lie. With some plates on the back or it bolted down, it's decently stable for a beginner lifter, just don't expect too much.

Price is fair, I think the Sunny halfrack would be an upgrade but all about where you want to spend your money.

Yeah. I don't have it myself but I have their full cage and I'm happy with it. It's $70 more though, could be the price of a bench or barbell so, gotta prioritize your needs.

They actually have good safety catches for this but have been out of stock since Oct or so due to COVID demand I assume. Catches went for $30-40 when in stock.

Still waiting for it to come back in stock to get it for myself because I'm not going to pay $75 to a scalper.
