Try Craigslist/OfferUp? I have seen NEW M12 charger for like $10. And M12 battery going for around $10/Ah.

Not helpful. The m12 (especially fuel) is a very impressive tool platform. I'm heavily invested in the m18 and m12, both fuel and non-fuel, tool lineup and I can tell you the m12 holds its own. I own the fuel stubby impact listed in this deal and I'm blown away by its performance.

I just grabbed this yesterday and my local store was out of the battery so they discounted $65. Great deal since I have plenty of batteries.

Does the battery size affect the torque output?
Do you need the 4amp batter to get full power? Or does it just last longer at full power?
I mainly want to use it to take off wheel bolts at torqued at 90 ft-lbs a couple times a weekend for track days.

Probably until there's a product replacing it. The 3/8 I got from Home Depot one day for $159. That's the lowest I've seen and it was, like I said, a 3/8th anvil
