the screen registers 10 separate touches at the same time. An example... if you're using the touchscreen to play a piano app, multiple concurrent touches is required to play a chord.

this is different from a screen that may "sense" multiple touches on the screen, but calculates the average position of those touches.. and registers it as one touch at that averaged position.

On Lenovo website. Let Lenovo website detect your PC and serial number. It will then tell you how many days left on your warranty and offer both on-site repair or replacement in first year for less than $50 along with extended warranties by year. Say you add another year only instead of 3 or 5, you can still go back at the end of the extended year and add another if you want. Prices very reasonable.

Spot on here, we use Lenovo at the School District I work at and the failure rate of the devices is very high. Much more so than when we used Dell. There is a reason that most of the 'Slick' deals on laptops are Lenovo.

IPS 250nits is a deal breaker. Don't buy anything lower than 400nits

Quit whining. The on-site warranty costs nothing and you usually just get a new computer. Only fools send a laptop off for repair.

That can be hard to find in the lower budget laptops!

Depending on your usage scenario, 250 might be ok. 8GB is hard to be stuck with these days, but 16GB should be good for the foreseeable future, again depending on your usage scenerio.

This looks like the official bitch about lenovo thread. Anyways dell kind of pisses me off way more. Having switched between lenovo and dell for 20 years, I think I prefer lenovo. I have owned a thinkpad and ideapad, but I have been stuck with a dell i5 for the past 5 years. Now I want to get a new lenovo with a 15 inch touch screen.
