Unless you're buying for kids or grandkids, I'd go with a better brand. The difference is noticeable.
The difference in quality was amazing they (Bicycle) are more sturdy and its easier to do basic moves and you can actually do flourishes without them going every were. Please if you are trying to use maverick and are having trouble please spend the 2 extra dollars it makes an amazing difference.
BTW, we are a swarmy bunch of deplorable ogres. We actually PREFER these inexpensive, non-pretentious, misfit playing cards.

I got a 12-pack of Bicycle cards on sale for about $14 at Costco. I think normal price was around $18. Still worth it at $1.50 per pack.
I bought this from dollar general store and are good quality
