Apple iPhone XS models (including large capacities and Max variants) are all $199 in-store at Walmart as of this weekend. Definitely a YMMV since these are not showing up in online inventories.

NOTE: Brickseek is showing "NO RESULTS" and Walmart.com is saying "Out of stock" for all SKUs (I checked them all). However, all 4 of the stores I checked in-person did have inventory. This seems very unusual, but I purchased a 256GB XS Max for $199 this afternoon at a store in my area so there are some models out there.

No contract/commitment required, but I believe these are only setup to work only with AT&T. I have AT&T so I haven't explored this further.

Clarification: No AT&T account info was needed to checkout. I just asked for the phone at the electronics counter, paid the total, and walked out. I charged the phone, swapped the SIM from my existing phone, and was up and running.

Called another store same story they won't sell it as a device only. I mentioned the WARP terminal they said they can't do it either. How do you get them to sell it when they want to be pricks and not sell them.

Called the 4th store and said OSL was not there today but I'm guessing I'll get the same BS story. I just don't get why it's so difficult but the 3rd store sounded like he was trying to get me to sign up with Sprint. UGH, FML

The two other walmart reps were being bossed around by the cell phone contractor (I assume). He literally told the associates that we are not allowed to sell those phones at that price without a contract. I picked up the $99 xs not maxx. When the manager arrived the contractor guy was trying to tell me the phones are $249 without a contract. The manager at that point said... Go take a walk. And processed my order. Seems like maybe this guy wanted the last 2 for himself?

I haven't been able to reserve any more iphones but was able to do it with the s9 plus'. Will report back if I'm successful!

yes in frisco stonebrook pwky yesterday but it's no longer in stock for reservation online so i am guessing they sold out. the guy told they had 7 in stock when i went there yesterday morning. me and my friend got 4 so by now it must have sold out.

Corporate won't override a managers decision. Save your time by calling corporate. Thought these stores would've improved after all the time they've wasted with trying to argue with customers trying to spend money at their stores but they are clueless as usual.

All else fails add line then cancel it. Verizon will not charge anything if you cancel service/line within 48 hours.

Well after speaking with the manager, who from the way she spoke, you would think Troc ran Walmart. She wouldn't budge. So I contact corporate and customer service. Here is when it gets ridiculous, they said they would transfer my call to the correct Dept. She transferred me to a PHONE SEX LINE! I'm not even joking, the call picked up on hold and asked for my cc# for some more steamy conversation. All this after I had to wait 30 minutes for my online order because they lost it. I'm done for the day. At home drinking a margarita after all this. Lol
