Apple iPhone XS models (including large capacities and Max variants) are all $199 in-store at Walmart as of this weekend. Definitely a YMMV since these are not showing up in online inventories.

NOTE: Brickseek is showing "NO RESULTS" and Walmart.com is saying "Out of stock" for all SKUs (I checked them all). However, all 4 of the stores I checked in-person did have inventory. This seems very unusual, but I purchased a 256GB XS Max for $199 this afternoon at a store in my area so there are some models out there.

No contract/commitment required, but I believe these are only setup to work only with AT&T. I have AT&T so I haven't explored this further.

Clarification: No AT&T account info was needed to checkout. I just asked for the phone at the electronics counter, paid the total, and walked out. I charged the phone, swapped the SIM from my existing phone, and was up and running.

Guys, can anybody tel me how brickseek deals works?

Should I go near by WM store buy the product and price will be cheaper as mentioned on Brickseek? Or do I need to pricematch with brickseek? How exactly it works .. can anybody explain me. Sorry for my ignorance.

Yeah it will say locked since it will lock to whatever carrier sim you put in first. Should be able to unlock after that according to the carrier policy (verizon after 60 days for example).

I was hoping someone was able to unlock theirs after activating on ATT -- I think I saw a couple posts of people who were able to do this but I can't find them.

Hahaha. 4 different Walmarts. I reserved the xs max at 4 different Walmarts in my area and all 4 would not sell it to me as device only. Got management involved. All I heard was corporate this and corporate that. This is why I love Denver, too many people and they're all dicks.

2 hours later I'm home with 2 XS Max's 64GB. Signed up for Sprint and the phone is locked so calling them now go get it unlocked. I own it so they don't have a reason not to unlock it. Both phones were not sealed nor did they have the plastic wrap on them. As soon as I get them unlocked I'll cancel this. GF may take one and the one kid may get the other to replace their XRs.
