Its German so overpriced here in Amerika and probably equivalent to something half that price at Home Depot. Now I do have a Wera Zyklop ratchet that is my favorite but at bought that cheaper when in Germany.
Actually some Wera set are cheaper in U.S. than in Germany...go figure.

Unless you have a use case for bits that last, they are. Sounds like you don't, so you'd be correct in your case.

Wera makes very high quality tools, and I wouldn't be surprised to see this little kit get more use than a hundred dollar 100+ pc ratchet wrench kit.

I bought a wera screwdriver five years ago, and it's the first tool I grab from pretty much any small job, I was well worth the money I spent on it.

Wera micro screwdriver set is 50% off now also. Wera's small tips really hold up to serious torque!

They have these at work. Pretty handy little set. I wouldn't buy it though.

I like Wera, and they make nice tools. However, if you aren't using this every day, this price probably doesn't make sense for you. If that is the case, I always recommend the Gearwrench micro bit driver [homedepot.com] which for sub-$15 hits most of the features of this, but isn't quite as compact. I have bought about 6 of them over the years to give as gifts or keep in various places (like vehicles). One of my most used in-house tools, as well.

No experience on this set. But I got few Wera precision phillips screwdrivers and they are super nice, and AMZN prices are good too.

I have the Gearwrench set that I got from Sears years ago. Used it a few times for quick small task.Smilie
