I highly suggest Dark Matter, The Spy and the Traitor, and On Desperate Ground.
Dark Matter was my favorite of last year. I wish I read it sooner!

Dark Matter is great. Once you get into it, you REALLY get into it. It was worth the cover price for me which I don't say a lot.

Also a rec for Dark Matter. I read a pre-publish copy a couple of years back and thoroughly enjoyed it. Seen and heard a lot of good reviews since.
