Buying a laptop that might not come with factory warranty - that's foolish.

1100 dollars for a laptop with a 3060 is the best move imo. The desktop variant (which will be a bit faster) has a MSRP of 300 dollars now, but with tariffs its going to be 400+ easily. That's assuming you can even get your hands on one.

For 1100, you get an entire computer. Also folks who wants a gaming laptop are in a completely different market than those who want a desktop.

I've never had issues with pre-ordering from BB before.

Only certain items are getting the 20% off? The discount only shows up in cart on like 1/5 amazon warehouse items.
Ya, only items through the link are eligible for the extra 20%

I bought one (Roborock s5?) for $182 incl tax about 15 mins ago and there was one or more left for the same price after I ordered.

Not to TC, but I have had some pretty bad experiences with these Warehouse deals. 3 out of 4 products bought in the last 2 years had major issues even though they were marked as Like New. The common thread was that the items were not DOA and appeared to be fine for a short period of time, but I had a laptop with a major flickering issue after 20 minutes of use, a set of headphones where the battery was listed as 12 hour life that lasted only about 3 hours and a soccer goal that was bent just enough that when you kicked a ball into it above knee height, it collapsed on itself. Amazon was not helpful on any of these and wanted me to reach out through the manufacturer warranty which was a total waste of time, effort and patience...

Buyer beware...!

From experience it depends on where the item is shipped from. I have received a lot of DOA / poor quality items from Amazon warehouse. Its a gamble.
I'm about 50/50. If I get a good deal, great, otherwise they get to take it back on their dime.

What happened when you clicked the return button in your account? Or did you reach out to customer service? Easiest is to just start a return in your account and not involve a human.

VAVA 4K UST laser projector for $1750 FYI ($2500 new regular price).
I guess its a good price for ppl that missed it at $1950 or $1852 (with amazon CC 5%). But risky for such an expensive item. Especially when VAVA's reliability is unknown with some reviews saying the projector stopped working. Since amazon warehouse deal is branched off from amazon.com, many manufacturers won't honor the 2 yr warranty (they will see amazon warehouse used on receipt). A 3rd party warranty with bad review is around $200 which is what this saving is. I was eyeing the vava alr screen that would have been $440 with 20% but it was gone & not sure if it had 20% off. Hard to stomach ALR screen prices for daytime use when already paying premium for UST projector (minus replacement bulb & some ppl spend money to mount projectors & darken room. And the ability to use it during the day with ALR). But a $10 screen & lamp projectors at $1k-$2k will have much better shadow details & color accuracy (I seen them side by side. ex epson refurb 5040ub or 5050ub).

Welp, I said if I ever ran across a Synology MR2200ac from Warehouse during one of these 20% off sales that I'd buy it.

So, apparently I'm pretty good at keeping my word to myself.

Side note: I too have bought many things from AW over the years - all but two with good success. One was maybe 3 years ago (Playstation headset) that just didn't work correctly. The return was without issue. But a few months ago I bought (probably my 4th or 5th from AW) a Caseta dimmer. It was flat out someone that scammed Amazon by returning a normal $2 light switch in the Caseta box. Again, the return was painless, but still annoying.

Point being: maybe I've just been lucky, but I don't feel like I've received a very high percentage of "bad stuff" from them in recent years.

I agree with a lot of other users. In the past, "like new" condition has been practically new. These days, many are obviously used or missing parts. Just a word of caution in case you need the item ASAP and find it incomplete.

It seems even more restrictive than that, the coupon appears to only work on the lower/lowest condition one that they have available. It didn't work on a few like new items I tried, but worked on the good or acceptable one. I think this is more restrictive than in the past

Ah must have randomly found a few items without going through the links then. Didn't they used to just run 20% on every warehouse item? Hopefully that's not a thing of the past.

On laptop I tried that and detailed the issue and shipped it back. They tested it and said it was fine and there would be a fee for the return.
I generally have amazing experiences with Amazon but the warehouse has burned me recently in expensive and infuriating ways
