1100 dollars for a laptop with a 3060 is the best move imo. The desktop variant (which will be a bit faster) has a MSRP of 300 dollars now, but with tariffs its going to be 400+ easily. That's assuming you can even get your hands on one.
For 1100, you get an entire computer. Also folks who wants a gaming laptop are in a completely different market than those who want a desktop.
I've never had issues with pre-ordering from BB before.

Every 3-6 months or so it seems. In the last few years it's been only on select items. The first one i remember was 15 or 20% off everything but that was a long time ago and it probably won't come back.
On side note, this performed better than my S6 pure, the S5 picked up 2x the debris even though I ran the S6 pure the day before.
After the second one was cancelled they offered a $5 gc.
I order a lot of stuff from the Amazon Warehouse and problems and cancellations have been extremely rare until recently. Now it is horrible. I also ordered 2 matching end tables this week (not part of promotion). One was delivered and one was cancelled.
