Anyone got the 30% code to work? Best I can get is the 20% code off to work so can't get 50% off.

The issue with the sensor is ONLY if you use the old school pre-applied glue based ones, some have circles to try and make it work better, but they are ugly and you should just avoid those.

The only reason to buy whitestone or Amfilm or other premium ones is they come with good instructions and installation jigs that make it easier to do. What thats worth to you is for you to decide, but the actual LOCA glue vials come from the same factories and glass are isnt special at all, the premium ones just have a better install setup

Personally I will be buying this, I wouldnt buy it at MSRP, but the S21U tempered glass LOCA/UV is $17:

So why did I spend $17 when the Chinese ones are $4 that also work flawlessly? Because an expedited delivery to get them here when my phone arrives (27th) would raise the price to $11+, and value the jig $5ish to make life easier, so this is worth it to me.

$60-80 whitestone is a scam, and the people that run that company astroturf on reddit and other forums to promote it. Yes its a very nice jig, better than AMfilm, but the end result if done properly is no better than a $4 chinese one, or this AMfilms.

This is one of the resons I am waiting to buy a new phone, for the fingerprint sensor to be switched back to the back of the phone. I hate it on the screen.

If the sticky part is only on the outside, fingerprint wouldn't work because there is space between phone and glass protector. Since the screen is flat on S21, I'd say give it a few weeks and you'll see old-school ones coming back where the fingerprint will work.

Pretty much literally any UV/Loca glue. Outside of the selfie camera hole or teardrop cutout or it being solid glass there, the chinese/generics are like 95% all the same. You get alcohol wipes, stickers, cleaning cloth, UV micro-usb light (tiny one) in all of them, glass quality is the same its glass with an oleophobic coating, not even whitestone is giving you gorilla glass or anything special. So just buy whatever is the cheapest for the shipping times you can put up with. I would recommend saving the jig from this purchase and reusing it with the chinese ones, also maybe keep the UV light, its bigger and has feet, the cheap chinese ones are like 3 LED and hand held, so its a longer more involved process. Buy from either Aliexpress or ebay, aliexpress probably will be cheaper.

Thanks again for explaining! I see a whole bunch of them on ebay for around $3-4 that are shipping from China. Some are also around $11 that ship domestically. I'll make sure to keep the UV light in case I need it for future installs.

So in the pictures for the S21 Ultra Glass Protector, it shows that there's like 8 pin holes that let adhesive spread out evenly, is that normal? Will the holes be visible after?
