Two issues with this product that I've found (have had mine for I want to say 10 years):

If the volume knob is turned high enough, it will emit an audible white noise.
If you adjust the volume knob too often, eventually the internal mechanism will degrade and static/pop will occur from the speakers during adjusting only.

For the two reasons above, my suggestion is keeping the volume knob low/medium level (Mine is at about 25-30%) and instead use your PC (or whatever you're connecting it to) to increase/lower instead.

That said this is a good deal for the price and a solid product given the longevity.

Where are you seeing this sold at Walmart? I just did a search for Klipsch sold by walmart.com and there's 3 Klipsch items listed, none of which are this.

I second that. That white led light is annoying
Mine came with some little black rubber feet that you could put under the speakers and woofer to keep them from sliding. I took one of them and it fit perfectly over that light. Didn't end up using / needing the others.

That said, I went from some generic USB speakers to these and am simply blown away. They fill my home office with perfectly clear and balanced sound. Absolutely love them and debating about replacing my aging Vizio sound bar in my living room with these.

I tried two different Speaker sets and both of them had a little bit of a whine to them. Returned them.

I saw a bunch of these at my Wal-Mart while searching for $5.00 3ds games. They were listed at $39.99. Worth checking out if you are interested.

I only see them for $146 on Walmart and it's by a marketplace vendor with "cosmetics" in the name.

I got these before black Friday for $90, not an audiophile, but everything sounds so much better on them.

I listen to a lot of recordings of interviews on these the sound is so clear it sounds better than the actual interview.

I would pay a little more to get something at Costco because I know that if it breaks a year later, I don't have to go through the warranty process.

Also I always make money on the Costco membership and that's not counting the savings on gas, so the membership isn't a problem for me.

Seems like the recent reviews of this speaker aren't as good as the earlier generation. They also never fixed the vampire power issue.

These have to be the longest-running model of PC speakers ever. I still have my set from 10 years ago and they still sound and work great. Costcos generous returns is even better insurance against the usual suspects of frayed wires and white noise at high volume while muted.

I got a second set which came with BT... And that one was an absolute nightmare. Anyone could pair with it without a code and there's no way to turn BT off.

These have been at that price in Walmart since beginning of December. Not sure how it's on front page.

I have had these for a couple years and they're amazing and sound great, I see people saying there are cheaper at Walmart, all I gotta say is make sure its the same model. The previous model looks exactly the same only without Bluetooth

You can spray some deoxit in that knob and it'll be good as new.

I have my source volume at about 50%, that usually limits the volume knob to the lower 50%. For the scratchy potentiator / volume knob issue, I've applied Deoxit D5 - lubed and cleaned it nicely. Haven't had issues for weeks now, we'll see how it holds up.

I got these during the last Costco sale. I liked them more than I thought I would. Very loud. I rarely ever go past 3 o'clock, but then again there are just sitting on my desk about 1-1.5' away. Highs are lacking a little. I used a splitter to attach a Taotronics PC soundbar to the system and hooked it up to my Soundblaster G6. The combo is perfect for everything (movies, music gaming). I couldn't be happier with the setup. The speakers are a little cluncky and do take up some desk space but there are not other options really. This is a great deal.
