I think BLADE RUNNER is what started all this Director's Cut mess because the theatrical release suffered from a bunch of studio interfence.

But yeah, BLUES BROTHERS theatrical release is the superior version. Elwood quitting his job to become a priest is only moderately funny.

Was looking for a good price on The Blues Brothers to add to my collection. At this price, it's perfect.

MA didn't work when bought via Amazon for either versions. Canceled order, which was super quick, and bought on Vudu. MA worked like a charm.

Get the regular version of the Blues Brothers. The few extras don't add anything and those those segments become awkward and less funny. The original release is the best version.

Also, no way to disable the extras. If you buy the unrated version you watch it warts and all. Doesn't completely ruin the movie but makes it less.

There's a reason why film editing is a "thing". I'm not sure I've ever seen a "Director's cut" that I thought was better than the theatrical release...

Mine didn't port to MA for some reason (Blues Brothers not unrated and Casino). Looks like some of these have the same price on vudu too

Can anyone comment on the audio/video quality difference between buying a digital 4K film from amazon as opposed to buying the 4K ultra blu-ray? Is it a similar reduction in quality as watching/streaming a 4K film from Netflix or Disney+?

Chatted with MA. They are getting back to me.

"Thank you. It looks like there might be an issue with these 2 movies not flowing over from Amazon in 4K. I will let our team know and hopefully, they are able to work with Amazon to get them to flow over." He also said if they resolve it, the movies will just show up.

Weird that if you click on them in MA the options are HD through Amazon and 4K through VUDU...but not 4K through Amazon?
