I was going to post this! Good. It comes out to $15 a season after red card (total 25% off) $137 after tax. Not sure I want to pay that as this doesn't come with the regular Blu-rays either.

Great deal. If you have a large OLED TV, this is the way to watch this series IMHO. HBO's streaming quality is pathetic, and you'll actually be able to appreciate darker scenes such as those found in The Long Night episode

Does anyone know when season 7 and 8 are coming out? Can't believe they've left us with such a cliff hanger for 4 years now.

Anyone know if the digital is 4K? Obviously not MA though, and with compression, not sure how much better than HBO.

Knowing the ending unfortunately makes it hard to watch again- as that was the big suspense of Winter. But that's another story.

Cause the show was strong in first half, wavered into the second half a fair bit, and the ending reached the levels of Dexter in terms of a bad finale. The haterade flows among the fanbase to where they will downvote or poop on the show's ratings to show how much the end impacted going back to it.

Heck, I didn't even buy Season 8 to complete my collection until it was $10 during the holidays. Back when the show was amazing, I justified $30-35 buys of the show at release. Then I started waiting for sales to the $20+ range, sometimes lower. And then with Season 8, I had enough and just waited...until it was $10 brand new.

target was able to price match amazon's price. Got it for $131 shipped. Thanks OP.

edit: bah had to cancel didn't realize it didn't have blu-rays. Why do they try to rip us off like that...

I vote in boycotting this crap until they have a release that includes blu-rays and 4k.

Code Redeems on VUDU in HD ONLY. To be fair no TV show on any platform currently supports 4K playback so this is just a symptom of the current digital ecosystem.

It's about whether it's a good deal or not. Not whether you are happy with the show or not.

My friend bought this when it came out for like $200. He has yet to re-wach it since he already owns the Blu-rays. He loaned me all the seasons on Blu-ray but it turns out He bought S5 on DVD and when I told him about it he immediately re ordered it on BD and loaned that me as soon as it came, LOL.

This is a great show that i intend to rewatch but I want to wait for a few more years before i watch it when it is not fresh in my mind anymore.

On VUDU HD is branded HDX. It goes up to 1080p ON SUPPORTED DEVICES. Currently Chrome and Firefox support only SD due to some DRM jailbreak and studios freaking out about it, there's alternatives on PC so it's not a big deal.

ah, gotcha; I hadn't thought about it from that perspective; thank you
I've actually never seen these shows but have heard good things about the quality of the 4k release so I was thinking of getting them -- it seems like a relatively good price so I may go ahead with it
