Shit my 3-yr Windscribe expired last week. Couldn't find a good Windscribe deal so I got the Ivacy lifetime deal a couple days ago for $39 because it was the one that worked with Netflix. I really liked Windscribe and I'm tempted to get this deal. Does anyone else use Ivacy and which one is better? Did I get a bad deal?

Hulu works fine, don't use LiveTV though. Can't see how it would be different.
Windscribe works great with Netflix not sure about Hulu

Ivacy is not very good. If you're happy with it, though, stick with it. Windscribe is a very reputable company and makes an excellent product.

Just FYI I have a lifetime subscription and got a very curious email from Windscribe . I think what they were saying was that they had lost their Internet backbone but they were working to replace it with something even better . They then included a picture of Aladdin on a magic carpet. I say I think this is what they were saying because frankly not everything they said made sense and I really do not understand what a smiling cartoon character on a magic carpet has to do with anything .
VPN companies don't manage a backbone. So that is not what they were saying. lol

What the email was about was that they are no longer giving affiliate bonuses (when a website refers you to them, and the referrer gets some money). The practice was questionable, even if its not as bad as paying for reviews which NordVPN, ExpressVPN and Surfshark, amongst others, do.

Haven't used it other than to test to see if it works with Netflix. What are the cons?

I get nothing to talk about Windscribe, I don't even use it anymore, how does that make me a shill? Just curious.

Nub question, does anyone know if this will work with IPTV on a firestick? My friend bought a VPN, not this one, but it wouldn't allow the IPTV to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Windscribe is better especially with their apps but TorGuard is still solid. They need better apps though. Also you can use gift cards to pay for Torguard if you have some sitting around. I signed up for two years after Windscribe went rogue and their prices got ridiculous.

I'm new to the whole VPN scene but outside of geo-restrictions what advantages does this have over using the TOR browser?

TIA

Does this work for Hotstar subscription? in India
Yes, if you connect to the Indian server before you login on the hot star app. However, it'll be too slow and video will buffer a lot. I've noticed that when I connect to the India server before I login, hot star works even after I disconnect the VPN. However, this only lasts for 2 weeks to 1 month. After that, I'll have to delete the hot star app and do it all over again

I've had a hard time finding VPNs that work with HULU live. Will this work? There is no mention of Netflix and Hulu on their features page.
Hulu Live uses IP addresses so you'd need a VPN with a static IP address upgrade if you don't want to reveal your actual IP address or constantly reconnect to try & get your original VPN IP address.
