Great VPN. They recently released a statement with screenshots from websites that rate VPNs for money, and basically said they are no longer playing that game. That they would rather invest that money in the platform (because some of the sites were complaining that they could not make enough commission based on their sale prices).

Take that with a grain of salt or not, but if you don't find them on the rating sites for "top VPNs of 2020, 2021, 2022 etc., I can tell you that it's not because they are not worth it.

Before the pandemic I would have to travel to about 9-12 countries per year, and Windscribe never let me down. Easy interface, quick and stable connection, and also no logs being kept.

I was lucky to get a lifetime a few years ago, and they have been getting better and better. Since that's not being offered anymore, this is a great deal imho.

Wish they had the lifetime plans available again

Windscribe has worked great for me when I was in China and in Russia.

Windscribe is blocked by many websites including google. You can't use it for anything normal like google. Login to your bank from WS and you'll get flagged for fraud. Are there any VPN's that don't have all of their IP's flagged?

Confused That's definitely not true. I've used WS for years without any issue with Google.

Banks, sure, maybe. I've never tried to access my bank using VPN, but I can see where that might cause some security flags to go up. But Google and pretty much everything else? No problems here.

Which server do you use? I've used every west coast server and always have to do a captcha check whenever I search on google. It is extremely annoying.

my 3yr nord service is done in a few days. just hopped on this deal. so far speeds are about 50%-75% slower[~80Mb down on pc, ~300Mb down on phone] than nord. hopefully its just temporary. at least it cost me ~half of what nord charged me

Thanks a lot for the reply. I had the "Select Best Server" option enabled. I'll try rerunning the speed test with a few of the choices to see if that improves results.

I usually use Central/East Coast US. Just tested a bunch and they were fine. I just checked a bunch on west coast too and the only one that gave me issue was one in Seattle.

I would go with ExpressVPN.

Windscribe is in Canada which is part of the five eyes network. Why would anyone want to buy a VPN service from a nation that is part of this network? Your data is under mass surveillance.

It is like hiring the robber to protect the bank.
